The Twister set includes: 1/16-1/2"x64ths bits. An exclusive combination of premium high speed steel, superior geometry and Champion's unique NOMO (Nitride On Margin Only treatment) maximizes the number of holes per drill. Brute Platinum XL28 drills penetrate faster than cobalt, providing lower fatigue levels to the operator, since less force is required to drill.

THE BEST
Champion bits are the best you can buy. I used to use them exclusively to drill and tap holes for safe alarms. I had to drill out holes in stainless exhaust pipes recently and these were the only bits that could do the job.

Great budget set of HSS drill bits
I wish I'd bought these long ago. I'll leave all the others in my workbench for jobber stuff and keep these for real metal work. Very happy with the performance thus far. I would prefer a flat index though, as it's easier to store vs leaving on a shelf or on top of the drill press.

I’ve drilled a bazillion holes in every kind of material you can think of over more than 65 years of being an automotive technician, and used up my share of drill bits. I’ve learned to recognize good ones from bad ones and I’d have to say that these appear to be among the best quality around. Beautiful bits that cut like they’re supposed to. That’s why you pay good money for them. Even the circular container is a nice idea, but...... Champion and Amazon need to get together to figure out a better way to ship them. Champion puts a wimpy piece of plastic wrap around the seam of the container, and then Amazon tosses it into a big padded envelope to ship it. Boo on both of you. The wimpy plastic wrap obviously didn’t last long, and the envelope arrived full of loose drill bits and parts of the container scattered amongst the bits. I ALMOST sent the whole mess back to Amazon just the way I received it, but after seeing what great bits these are I spent an hour and a half putting things back together using a magnifying glass and electronic caliper (along with a good bit of ingenuity). I’m happy, but geez guys. Get it together, literally!

Good bits but missing two out of the packaged
Received the bits quickly from amazon as a birthday present for my brother. They were still in the original shrink wrap from the factory when we opened it, but much to our dismay there were two of the smaller bits missing. This is annoying, but at least they were on the smaller side so less expensive to replace. This doesn't take away from the fact the the bits are over all of a great quality and made in the USA.
