    • Good stools but issues with pre-drilled holes

We ordered 2 sets (4 chairs) of these stools for our eat-over bar that is counter-height. The chairs arrived promptly, but assembly was a bit of a challenge. I’m pretty adept at putting things together. However, when they’re labeled incorrectly, it becomes more difficult. The instructions did not label that the chair legs were slightly different and you need to position them in a very specific way in order for them to fit in the pre-drilled holes. Ordinarily it wouldn’t be a huge deal if you had to drill new holes, but these pre-drilled holes were threaded so we could not drill new ones to fit the holes that match up with the legs, so we only have 3 screws into the chair base instead of 4. Additionally, the instructions are mis-labeled and tell you to use the short screws and long screws in the improper places - make sure you swap them, then they’ll fit. The chairs themselves are very sturdy and stylish, and I’m happy with them for the price point, but I would suggest the manufacturer make changes so that there aren’t any issues with matching up holes. ... show more

These barstools are perfect for our apartment! They are extremely stylish and exactly the style we needed, art deco 1920s. The green velvet is a deep dark green and not teal. We did have an issues with the screws, however the customer support was amazing, shutout to Bella, she rectified the problem and sent us new screws immediately. first one assembled so easily. the second one was mis-screwed/punched crooked on the seat itself. I wasn't able to get all the screws in the seat. It works but it bothers me there's only 2/4 screws in place.. hopefully it doesn't have an effect later down the line!
