I wanted some comfy winter boots that are easy to slip on and are not too tall or short. This fit the bill but looking at the product ad, there was a chance it could have been made cheaply. I had never heard of Chaco so this was a gamble. I can honestly say that first impressions are extremely positive. This boot looks to be made out of quality materials and put together nicely. It is easy to slip on with the nice tab at the rear (which btw is sewed on with heavy duty stitching). I have wide feet and the toe box is plenty roomy--like Keene in fact. Material is comfy and the sole is not too think like some boots. I hope that this boot is durable but only time will tell. For now, I will give it high marks for initial quality and fitment. This shoe is very comfortable. Very light as well. Size fits as expected. I wear a 10.5 and it fits great. I purchased to wear to ice hockey games and they keep my feet warm but I am actually wearing them everyday now as long as no snow on the ground. They keep my feet pretty warm in the Midwest's winter. Not waterproof so I used a used a spray to keep melting snow from soaking in. So far they have held up to everyday wear. I really liked these initially, great arch support, and warm, but I’ve only had them since the beginning of Jan and the top layer on the right shoe is already starting to wear out.
