Did not fit my 2016 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Custom- though it does apparently fit models prior to this year. I can only base the rating off what was inside the box. Compared to the Cobra Speedster Swept Exhaust Black 4218B (which did fit my 2016 model) these pipes were actually fully assembled and would not have required re-positioning the passenger foot-pegs like the Cobra pipes did. These pipes are overall shorter with a more aggressive curve. Ensure you check the exact model and years it applies to or you may discover the pipes don't fit. ... show more

    • Great quality, BIG sound!
Very pleased with the look and quality of these pipes. Much louder than I expected for the bike, with a nice deep rumble at idle. The bike now sounds twice as big as it really is. Installation was pretty straight forward following the instructions. Although, the instructions state that the heat shields and clamps are pre-installed at the factory, mine were not. It took some extra time to find the best way to install the heat shields and orient the clamps before mounting the pipes, as that part of the process isn't covered in the instructions. ... show more

    • Love the exhaust
Love the exhaust, has a phenomenal sound to it! I've seen a few reviews where people are saying it's a bit loud, I didn't find that to be the case at all (I'm 29 years old, not sure if that makes a difference). The instructions that come with it are pretty bad, watch some install videos on youtube before attempting. Long story short, the install instruction don't mention adding on the brackets that secure the black ceramic covers to the chrome pipes, as well as the bracket that holds the 2 exhaust pipes inside the covers together. Once you look at them for a second, it becomes obvious how it works. You need to seperate the pipes, add the cover securing brackets, slide on pipe bracket on, reconnect pipes, add cover securing brackets to the next section of exhaust, then fit exhaust to the bike and tighten everything down. Overall, took me a bit longer than I expected to get it all done, but once on, it looks and sounds awesome. Can't imagine there is a better sounding exhaust out there for my Vulcan 900. Shipping was fast as well. Be sure to leave a note if you want the driver to leave these at the door, I had to go pick them up from FedEx as a 21+ year old signature is required (I guess due to cost?). ... show more

Installation instructions were not-so-great but if you use some common sense it's a really simple install. Most time consuming part was finding the mounting bracket that was taped to the inside of the box! ;-) Post-install... It's like a whole new bike! Sounds beefy and I definitely gained some power. On a side note, my stock exhaust baffles had been drilled so I was accustomed to a good amount of decel "popping". With the new pipes it still seemed to happen a bit, but was less noticeable due to the deeper sound of the exhaust. I added a fuel processor for added performance and the popping was reduced to virtually zero. ... show more

These were very easy to install. It took about 30min, and I've never really worked on a motorcycle before. They look great and sound vicious! I know it's a big purchase, but well worth it to make sure drivers hear you and don't run you off the road!
