This mattress has really been a great surprise for the cost. My partner prefers a firm traditional spring / hybrid mattress and is a back or stomach sleeper. I have slept on foam for over a decade and am a side sleeper only. So - a hard compromise to find something within budget. This mattress has been wonderful for both of us. For a foam / gel mattress it is definitely on the firm side - but it is extremely supportive (in a good way) Don’t be fooled by the first week of use, it really does adapt to your body , I’ll admit I was a little sore on my ribs at first - but now it is so cozy and my hips don’t ache like with my old memory foam super soft bed. Upon arrival the mattress expanded fully quickly - we let it breathe for about 14 hours before using it. It measured 14 inches without any misshapen corners. Absolutely no smell. Cover feels high quality and I like the dark cover that is removable. Movement isolation and lack of noise is 10/10 I would definitely recommend this mattress!

Have always been skeptical of buying one of these from somewhere other than a big box store but this is great. It came ahead of schedule, was expanded in just a few hours. I didn't know how firm it would be but was very surprised it was perfectly firm for me and I like a firm mattress for my back. This was a great purchase and recommend it to anyone that wants a great bed at an affordable price. My back has never felt better and great a wonderful nights sleep.

I’ve been really enjoying my mattress—it’s honestly one of the best investments I’ve made for my comfort and rest. From the first night, I noticed how supportive yet cozy it feels. It strikes the perfect balance: firm enough to keep my back aligned, but soft enough to sink into after a long day. I’ve been waking up without stiffness or soreness, which used to be an issue for me. The quality of my sleep has improved, and I feel more refreshed in the mornings. Update*** after 4 weeks sleeping on it, I changed my pillow and have no sore spots and my neck feels so much better. It is a firmer matress. I think on the scale it should say, Medium-Firm. So far so good! I would recommend this. Good quality. Deep sleeping 😴 -------- Initial thoughts after first night: First, it's packaged very well. It's shipped, folded and rolled up. The box with mattress weighs about 110lbs, so make sure that you have help. After unboxing, we made sure and guided the cover so its even all the way around. You may need some adjusting to let it fill and align appropriately. Checking it every few hours. It took about 30 hrs to fully expand. The measurements were as it should be. After getting it on our bedframe, we have box springs and frame. Make sure that you use a nice waterproof matress pad of your choosing to keep thr mattress warranty in place as it says it has a 10 year limited warranty. We used a cooling, waterproof, bamboo cover. They run about $30-$40 for a good "Noiseless" pad. It's definitely firmer than we thought it would be. We had a Serta, Medium Plush, memory foam mattress that is about 8 years old. We have been noticing sagging with sholder and hip pain over the past year. We determined it had to be the mattress. Our new mattress is definitely firmer! However, my wife loves it. She stated that she didn't wake up with any pain. Me on the other hand, feels like it might be too firm. But, I too didn't wake up with any hip or shoulder discomfort! That's amazing. Also to note, I realize your body needs to adjust and I will give it time. Your pillows may need to be replaced to counter the mattress and your sleeping preferences. We will look into that in a week or so, should we need to. The mattress doesn't transfer hardly any movement to the other sleeper, which is a great thing! The detailed information on Amazon doesn't say that. But it does have that quality! Also, it does have anti slip rubber spots on the bottom of the mattress cover. No noticeable slipping with our box springs which is a plus! Cooling? I would say yes. Didn't wake up sweating or feel hot at all. Pleasantly comfortable temperature for both of us! So far so good! I am impressed with it so far! At 80% less cost that our Serta, it appears to be a good purchase. I will update this post in a week.

Okay I’m going to be completely honest here. The mattress itself at first felt like we were going to be sleeping on a rock hard bed. After the first night, we figured out our previous feather soft mattress was causing our back pain. So it is not pillowy soft. It you’re looking for a soft mattress this is not it. However, if you are looking for a mattress to help with back pain this is the bed for you. It gets a bit of getting used to. But I would definitely recommend it.
