Well made for family fun! Great on a calm lake, but a haul. A solid, super large (!) and consequently heavy standup board with three click-in fins, one extendable paddle, a manual pump and storage bag that fits all equipment. Inflation's work best done by two persons. Good grip on rubberized surface and the sturdy base won't damage easily on rocky ground. Not sure if the fins will last with more rugged use like an occasional drag across stones near shore. We'd trust this board with larger dogs. We'd buy this quality again. Some extras would sweeten the $250 price and make use more convenient. In particular, we'd pay extra for a bag and carrying solution comfortable to smaller persons and a rechargable, electric pump. We like the blush olive, warm beige and mustard color design, but purchased this for fun, not photos. • Huge size comes with commitments It pays to have two or more persons when deploying this board. Please make sure you understand this is much longer and wider than a person and easily fits two adults. The clear upsides are stability for multi and larger person use and its very rugged make. As a consequence, it takes a bit more storage space, filling it with air is several minutes of workout and it is pretty heavy to carry. All equipment weighs approx. 30lbs and stores at ca. 36" x 18" x 7". It's not a featherlight foam body board, nor is it a kayak or canoe. There's limited maneuverability. • Solid make for reliability We like the thick and sturdy PVC hull that's unlikely to get punctured by sharp rocks - there's lava rocks here on occasion and we trust it. There's a large, rubberized standing surface between the valve at the rear and the front straps. It has great grip for dry and wet, bare feet or neoprene shoes. • Handy cords & sturdy anchors The bungee cords are handy if you plan to carry a pack or picknick, but we feel this isn't the right device for going the distance. The cords might get in the way with family use and we don't want to risk a foot getting stuck. No problem, they're easy to remove. The anchor points are reinforced and can be used to safely attach small items - like the included spray safe phone bag and the screw top, orange canister on a short line. We suggest doubling up with a watertight zip bag or similar to keep car keys bone dry in every eventuality, especially in salt water. • One extendable paddle The set comes with just one paddle, as described. We wish there was a second, but we suppose we'll use the board mostly for leisurely floating, not to make distance. It's height adjustable, packs compactly and lengthens to fit even tall adults, but it doesn't feel quite as heard wearing as it could be. Time will show, so far, no complaints. • Pump with pressure gauge A manual pump is also included. We find it's easy to deploy and sturdy to stand on. That's required, as there's a large volume to fill. The pump has a fast fill mode for the first minutes and a pressure mode useful towards the end. It has a pressure gauge, the target pressure of 12-15PSI is printed large next to the valve. Depending on (lack of) fitness, it can take 10-15 minutes to fill the board. The valve is two-way and allows for quick and easy deflation. Either work with two people and push down manually, or attach just the hose (without the pump) to keep the valve pin depressed and open. • Storage bag for car transport, board carry strap for tall persons The board rolls up nicely and all equipment very easily fits back into the slightly oversized storage bag. There's external and compression straps and an internal strap, but no compartments for fins, paddle or smaller items. We feel it's sturdy for storage and car transport, but unsuited to be carried far. The backpack straps are useful for short distances, but won't fit smaller persons. While there is a handle, we miss attachment points for a cross body strap. There's a padded cross body strap included meant to attach to the board's anchoring points. Again, smaller persons may find solo transport of the inflated board uncomfortable or impossible. • Accessories and handy extras Three fins click into place safely. We wish the fins and paddle came with padded storage. A comfortable ankle strap is included - we find it's not necessary at this size, especially on a calm lake. It may be cumbersome to less agile users. There's a printed user manual to answer further eventualities, much appreciated. Finally, the set includes two small patches of approx. 4½" x 3½" in colors matching the side's design - just in case. • No glass bottles, even on pictures A last remark: We don't like pictures of glass bottles near recreational waters. "Secure, clean" sounds pretty sarcastic in this context. Glass always breaks and eventually someone's foot gets cut up. Those are nasty injuries. Bottle shards are especially dangerous and impossible to clean up. Just avoid glassware in water sports.

A few other reviewers have covered the basic design and performance of this SUP. I agree with those reviews and have nothing to add that wouldn’t be redundant. So instead of duplicating that information, I’m going to share the specific details that are hard to know when ordering something online and in not being able to examine it in advance of purchase. Please see the large number of photos I’ve attached which should make clear what’s included, the design of components, the build quality etc. I’m a former member of the Puerto Rico ocean kayaking national team, so have a fairly extensive background in rough water paddling and with SUPs. My review is predicated on familiarity with other comparable SUP designs. First and foremost, I’m impressed with the overall design, material and build quality of this SUP and the accessories. The SUP itself is drop stitched, which is the way all professional-level inflatable watercraft are being built these days, since it allows much higher inflation pressure and hence more structural integrity. Drop stitched SUPS perform almost as well as hard shells while being a lot more convenient to store and transport. Hull materials are robust—coated canvas/Hypalon material that will take abuse. The light green color is more saturated than how it appears in the photos on Amazon. Highlights are yellow and white in a modern pattern. The overall look is great. Seams are solidly-constructed, well-glued and have sufficient overlap. All the attachments and hardware have large, rugged mounts. The non-slip deck cover is also rugged and solidly attached. The overall shape of the hull is correct for both flatwater and mild swells with a slight upward flair at the bow. A full set of high quality accessories are included. The stand up aluminum takedown type paddle comes in three sections for maximum portability—please see the photos. The polycarbonate blade is feathered and spooned for efficiency; the grip is asymmetric for better power; the paddle length is easily adjustable via a low profile clamp and runs from short enough to use while sitting or kneeling or long enough to use while standing. This paddle is higher-quality, stiffer and lighter than the typical SUP paddles one finds in rental locations. The included pump is double action, double stage and has an easy to read gauge—please see the attached photos. It only took about five minutes to fully inflate the SUP. I was surprised that some other reviewers felt that it was too hard to use, and am wondering if they didn’t set it up correctly. A rugged ankle leash is included. A waterproof phone/wallet pouch is also included. There’s a patch/repair kit in a watertight case with spare patches but you’ll need to provide glue which is available at any marine store. Some reviewers have dinged the case, but I find it higher quality than I expected after reading those reviews. It’s mid-weight Cordura nylon with a large nylon zipper, backpack straps, a shoulder strap and a carry handle. It is probably tougher than some reviewers think due to the Cordura. But it’s a free add on. There are lots of other SUP cases available on Amazon if it fails or for anyone who wants something more completely bombproof. All in all, this is a very well-constructed SUP that is also well-equipped and favorably priced. Deservedly a five star product.
