I wanted a tablet that I could watch my favorite shows on, as well as listen to music and other content. This Amazon Fire HD 8 (8 inch screen) tablet works out great for me. I had an Amazon Fire in the past that I loved, but unfortunately the screen broke. So, I decided to get an upgraded model, and so far I'm really impressed with the quality and speed of the tablet. It works great, there's no lagging of the shows/movies I watch and the picture is very clear. I got a refurbished one (which to be honest, I was skeptical at first); but it came fast and works just as well as a totally brand new one. I like to use things for a long time, as to cut down on waste and to be made economical and eco-friendly. This worked well for a lot of reasons, and I also believe it's reasonable in price when comparing to other similar items on the market. It's been great so far, and I love it! 😊

Son’s happy I’m happy. His older iPad mini stopped playing games and apps due to age and basically only works now for minor websites and YouTube kids app. So time for an upgrade! We found the Amazon fire tablet on sale and decided to give it a shot since we liked the eco show unit. Was worried about it having lots of ads but it’s not bad and plays his games and shows. Battery life is good way better than the old iPad. Speed of loading apps and games is good and videos play smoothly. Didn’t come with a charger so make sure to have one that supports USB-C.

This was definitely worth the money I bought a refurbished version but I'm really glad that I did I hadn't had a new Kindle since about 2010. Battery last forever. No scratches no dings came perfectly as described. It looked exactly how it looked in the picture. Was really easy to set up to my existing Amazon account because I did that before I ever purchased it so when I turned it on I just had to hit a few buttons and everything automatically linked. I love the fact that I can play wheel of Fortune on tablet so definitely happy with that. Great performance as far as speed and storage. I bought the Kindle in order to store my Kindle unlimited purchases and be able to read and take my books with me wherever I go.

I didn't know what to expect getting a refurbished device, but I have to say, it's just like brand new! Great for the value, and my wife has yet to give the thing a break! Definitely recommend!

I recently acquired the Amazon Fire tablet and unfortunately found it lacking in various aspects. The performance of the tablet is subpar, as it tends to run slowly, frequently crashes, and takes a long time to update apps. Moreover, it experiences frequent freezing, which hinders its usability for extended periods. The display quality is also unsatisfactory, with low resolution, dull colors, and inadequate brightness for outdoor usage. Despite moderate usage, the battery depletes quickly and necessitates multiple charges throughout the day. In comparison to tablets such as the ASUS ZenPad and Samsung Galaxy Pad, the build quality of the Amazon Fire tablet appears inferior and flimsy. Despite purchasing an ad-free version, I still encounter ads on my lock screen, which adds to my disappointment. The software is cluttered and restrictive, with a heavy emphasis on Amazon services along with intrusive ads and suggestions. Overall, the Amazon Fire tablet falls short in meeting expectations across various aspects, and therefore, I would not recommend it. It may be preferable to invest in a different tablet that offers a superior user experience.
