Easy to set up and install. These have good resolution and you can see well on them. Can put these anywhere. You will have to use lithium batteries which will cost you a ton. Using regular batteries will get you through 2 weeks before replacement.

The picture quality is great and their reach from the sync module is pretty good too. I previously reviewed these cameras as bad due to the fact that I was under the misconception that they required a subscription to fully function. They do not require subscription! You can simply order a thumb to plug into your sync module and the cameras and app will function normally. I would recommend these cameras for most people in most situations. ... show more

    • Good cameras for the price point
Easy to install and to use. Other reviews better cover the user experience and longevity of them, however I want to express my main concern with these otherwise great cameras. The cameras themselves snap mount onto the actual wall mounted piece. That’s all that secures the camera to the mount. Granted it is a very tight fit and has a very audible snap when it’s set in place, but as for theft of the camera, all you need to do is give it a tug and it’s removed. I’m not at all worried about the camera naturally falling off it’s holder as I said before it’s a secure fit but regardless the issue there remains. This hasn’t happened to me, but I am curious as to how Amazon would fix the issue given that it’s the fault of the design rather than the fault of the user. I have 5 cameras including Blink’s doorbell cameras and never to much of an issue with them If I could give 4.9 stars I would, but 5 is a good reflection on how I feel about these ... show more

I have had Blink cameras in our place ever since they first came out and they are just GREAT!! Easy to set up and us too. Just know the batteries are expensive and do NOT last for 2 years. The batteries last a good long while but it depends on how much you use them - how many videos they make, how often you access them from your phone, etc. I have some that I do not remember when I last changed the batteries and I have some others that seem to need a change every couple months. In any case, this is far better than any other plan you can come up with. Get some now! ... show more

The cameras are easy to install around the house and easy to link to the module/app on your phone. It is an affordable camera system that will require a $10/mo or $100/yr subscription after 30 days. The subscription is required to see the video clips of motion that are detected. There is a 10 second delay in getting an alert on the motion that is detected and it does take about 5 seconds for the live video to come up. Sometimes motion is not always detected and distances beyond about 50 feet are not picked up. Upside, it is affordable if on a budget, the picture quality is pretty good, and it does the job overall for what I need. If you are looking for immediate view of live motion or long-distance motion capturing, this is not the system for you. It is a very basic security system. ... show more
