I forgot my watering can was a 2 gallon container and mixed a weaker solution than recommended by the company. I wanted to fertilize older plants which would be 4oz per gallon. As I explained I did 4 it for 2 gallons. When I realized my mistake a week after. I realized my plants had obviously grown..started producing more fruit and foliage. I was impressed especially since the amount to use in comparison to the gallon bottle I purchased would have depleted faster...now I have more to use Yes it smells but the smell to me is more medicinal than a fish odor..and the minute you mix it I couldn't smell it any longer. It was a bit messy to mix especially in the first use because the bottle is heavy and becomes cumbersome trying to pour it without getting it all over the ground ... the container you're pouring it into...your gloves... I just think it's not worth to complain about smell or mixing accidents ...in comparison to how well it's working so far for me

I had tried solid fertilizer with no success so totally support this product for potted veggies. It does stink and is a concentrate so it's very thick but well worth it.

Concentrated stinky stuff. But pepper plants love it. 2 to 4 oz per gallon . Dont spill it on yourself and dont mix it in the house, you will regret it. This in combination with a weekly dose of Cal/Mag and you will be green.

This fertilizer works great. I mix this up and pour on my garden maybe once every 2 weeks and they stay nice and green and putting on great fruit. It definitely smells like a fish fertilizer so don't whine about the smell. Its decomposed fish people...of course it stinks! But you get used to it and its worth it for how well it works without burning the plants.
