My old 10" Kindle just totally died. Unfortunately all my family and friends addresses/phone numbers/birth dates/medical info were in it. None of it in the Cloud. This is a great tablet for ages 3 to 8. It does everything, and it's very durable. It's a great price, and Amazon makes setting up easy, and settings and controls are a breeze.

Pretty much the title. Sure it's old for more modern things, but if you're just wanting to stream movies on a bigger screen on the go, it's perfect. Also, it does run Xbox XCloud at a pretty playable frame rate ON THE WEBSITE. There's some stutters here and there which is to be expected. Just don't use the app, it will either run slowly or the audio will skip pretty badly (sounds like it's only playing every other frame). But on the website version, it runs very smoothly. I haven't tried any other game streaming services yet, but I can see it being a pretty decent experience for very cheap. ... show more

A little disappointing. The constant kiddy adds. The cutoff text on my Kindle app? What the heck. I’m not a child, and I don’t want to see the constant adds for kids games and movies. And because I select a large text it can’t adjust to fit the larger size and just cuts everything off.

I dropped my older Kindle fire and cracked the screen... So I ordered the refurbished one to replace it, and after adding a 128GB SD card it is doing everything I need, much faster than my old Fire, with plenty of storage onboard. I have had really good luck with refurbished electronics from Amazon, and would recommend them to anyone on a budget. ... show more
