    • The star topper does not fit. Top of tree opening too wide for star base.
The star does not fit. The base of the star is too small. Contacted Amazon Support but they were no help. They offered to have me return it but I was not interested in doing that because the price increased since I bought it. Later told me the store to visit so I went there and order more stars thinking that was the issue. Not the case. Maybe there is a piece missing? Not sure.     • Star on top looks cheap and doesn't fit well
WIth a better star and a better fit I'd give this product five stars but unfortunately the star doesn't fit well and detracts from the beauty of the tree.

This tree was a disappointment though it arrived unchipped and it is nice and glossy the lights are pretty but they are not very bright and if you look at the pictures in my review here compared to the pictures that Amazon provided for this product, you will see that it did come missing the star on top which should be included and I did check the packaging it was well packed however there was no star so you can see that I added my own from an old tree in a couple of the pictures but please also notice that on the bottom where you insert your batteries in the Amazon picture there is a small screw on the battery compartment and in my picture you will see that there is no screw and around the battery compartment it is ceramic and there's no way to unscrew or pop it out to replace the bulb. The measurement says 15 in high with the star which does look about accurate but if you do get one without the star it will measure as you see in my picture and like I did say again there is no way to replace the small bulb inside So eventually the tree will be useless and you have to find a star for the top and if you're like me you like a couple of year-round Christmas decorations you know that these things usually have to be ordered and they're not in the stores year-round. So if you're thinking about keeping it just to avoid the return keep in mind that again you cannot replace the bulb inside. I'm usually happy with my Amazon orders but this one was a disappointment. ... show more

I purchased this tree for my mother-in-law as a gift for Christmas. She wanted a ceramic tree that reminded her of her childhood but was battery operated so she could place it anywhere without having to be close to an electrical outlet. I was so happy when this arrived and it was well made and beautiful when lit! The paint and detail is beautiful and it has a cute little star that attaches at the top. She is going to love it. Great quality, great packaging, fast shipping, great price. I will update if there are any issues that come up but I would recommend this tree. ... show more

    • Batteries only lasts about 3 days
The tree is beautiful and it's like an electric one I have. I also have another battery operated I purchased last year. Neither that one or this one the batteries don't last any more than 3 days which is really disappointing.

Beautiful tree, but it seems like it is missing the piece that holds the star in place, so it leans.

The hole in the tree is 3 times the diameter of the stars post, so the star leans. It's almost like there is an insert missing.

With a widened led disc light inside the tree you would hope for a bright reflection of the colored bulbs. Not at all impressed. From 2 ft. Away in a low lighted room and you can barely make out the colors when it's lit up. NO it doesn't have a built in automatic timer as described. Disappointed to say the least. As far as the tree, it's identical to every tree of this kind alike. We grew up having one in our families and they were much brighter.
