I don’t think you could find anything more beautiful than these light filtering curtains. I matched them with some heavy duty light blocking curtains, so I could have the opportunity to let some light in when I wanted it. They are absolutely beautiful. Everyone who comes in my house comments on them in a positive way. The length and material is great. They block the light but yet they let the light in enough for you to stand and look outside. As other reviews stated on the reviews there is a silver shimmer to them especially when the light hits them. Not over bearing shimmery just enough to be classy. They are thick enough to allow privacy but also let's the light in which helps if you have a dark or shaded room. Tried to show the shimmer with a close up Pic. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! They let the light filter in during the day but reduce any glare. They hang and wash nicely. At night, they give some privacy from the outside yet lighten up the living room inside (despite the insulated curtains behind them in the winter - 2nd pic). These curtains are light filtering/sheer but have tiny specks of silver. Though my style is not bling nor flashy, these have the perfect amount of sheer and a splash of subtle sparkle. The colors were/are vibrant. They give just the right amount of privacy at night, as shown by pic #3 just outside the window you can see a a clock in the background left, but from only 10 feet away (4th pic), it is barely visible. ... show more

These curtains are absolutely beautiful! I was very hesitant about them because of the metallic thread. I was afraid it would be “too much”. However, once you hang them, it is barely noticeable in a good way with just a bit of sparkle here and there when the sun hits. They are a bright white background with a navy blue flower print that is very understated. I do not find them to be “rustic” at all and I think they are appropriate for pretty much any design except maybe something very informal. These are simply beautiful. There is a slight shimmer, but not too much. They are sheer-like so don't expect them to block much light. I bought these a long while ago, and recently bought 2 more to give a fuller look to the door window. Totally worth the price and I highly recommend.
