Awesome starter lens kit. These aren't top of the line, but you will get a great selection of very good lenses and filters so you can decide which ones you might want to spend the money upgrading in the future. There are instructions on how to use the collimation eyepiece, although they aren't the best so if it's your first time aligning your mirror then you may need to watch a YouTube video to really get it right. There are also instructions on using the T-ring adapter to attach a camera for astrophotography or lunar photography, but you still need to buy a separate T-ring for your specific camera model. This is perfectly suited for beginners, but good enough for someone with experience to really get the most out of their telescope. The case is fantastic (measures about 12" high x 9" wide x 4" deep), it keeps everything safe and organized. There is room built in for 1-2 more filters if you find a need, and room to cut out 1-2 more lens holes. I am using a Celestron NexStar 130 SLT and this is a wonderful addition.

I don't know much about astronomy, and so I can't speak to how well this would compare with other sets. That being said, it is a nice addition for a beginners telescope. The eyepieces are better quality that the ones that came with my telescope. They are also a good basic cross-section. The main reason I purchased this was the combination of three common filters, a barlow lens, and a solid case. It doesn't disappoint on any of these. The case is ideal, because it is solid and can be added to. It organizes things in a secure and easy fashion. I'm surprised, but I haven't used the highest powered eyepiece as much as I would have thought. This might be different in the future.

This is a really nice kit with 2 nice Plossl eyepieces, 3 filters, 1 2x Barlow, 1 microfiber cloth and a very nice plastic case with room for 1 more eyepiece, 1 more Barlow and a couple more filters. You really get a lot for your money with this set. I bought this as a Christmas present for someone so can't try these out on my telescope. I am sure this will be greatly appreciated and well used.

This is my first kit of eyepieces. I chosen this one over the Astromaster accesory kit because on that case it had not two Plossl eyepieces (One Kellner and one Plossl), but with this kit I have two quality Plossl (a 6mm + 17mm), in adition is the barlow 2X built in T adapter for Planetary Astrophotography and the three filters (one red, one blue and a lunar/skyglow filter). Great!

The quality of the lenses is simply great. I have used the Barlow with a Nikon T-ring with AWB Onesky 130(Figure attached), it works perfectly and with the eyepieces, you can actually see the colors of Jupiter and rings of Saturn, crisp and sharp. Loved it as a whole.

I used the adapter on my Android S5 cell phone with my telescope to see the moon and the photo shot has been very stable. You just have to adapt the cable to click outside the cell phone so there is no movement.
