PRO - REALLY bright. Remembers last setting when turned off. Looks pretty cool CON - no convenient way to suspend the lamp while attaching wires. Light fixture arrives disassembled. The package includes a 'Product Installation Diagram' which is helpful but not very detailed. One thing to note - the 2 25cm rings are not the same, one has 3 screw holes and the other only 2. Overall the light fixture is assembly is fairly straight forward. The light fixture is attached to the ceiling by a metal cross structure which eventually should be flush against the ceiling. While hanging the light I bent these bars. 3 of the 4 screws fairly easily caught but the 4th screw was too short to catch the bent support bar. Luckily I had some long (3 inch) M4 machine screws that fit the 4th hole. Once the 4 screws are fully tightened the fixture will sit fairly flush with the ceiling. Tightening the screws is a little difficult as the holes are right above a few of the rings. Overall it took about 1 hour doing everything myself. Probably much faster if you have 2 people. The light switch we have is a dimmer switch but this doesn't work, you need to use the remote control to dim the fixture. So far very happy. We needed something that was bright in our office and this is definitely bright. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. As a dedicated Amazon shopper, I highly depend on reviews. So I try to review most things I purchase. The light was super easy to install (AKA I let my husband do it lol). Honestly, he was able to install independently and we're just moderate DIYers. Ok so now that we're done with the boring stuff, here goes what you really wanted to know.... Should I get this fixture? The answer is a definite YESSSSS! I took a few still shots, but the truth is in the video. The light has so many settings, you can create any mood you desire at any time! An added bonus is how great the remote works. It even has additional channels which, I presume, you can add other remote fixtures to. All in all, this is a great value for the price! Aaaaaandddd.... shipping was faster than estimated. It’s a great fixture. Love the light. Just got confused that the circular plate was not correct but actually they had a peel off layer to reveal the wonderful gold color. It has 6-8 various temperature changes via remote. Love it.

The strip come in individual pieces and assembly is required. Each piece numbered and set up it self explanatory. The directions are a simple diagram with no verbal instructions. If I hadn’t installed another light earlier this month this would have been way more difficult. One of the connectors was wired backwards so I just reverse the pins. I had to google ceiling light wiring color and codes but besides that it was a 8/10 for installation. The light is self is perfect and super bright, remote works as stated in description. This took awhile to get here. By the time we put it in, any recourse on this situation had expired. Anyway, we quickly realized that they forgot to give me the remote. After correspondence, they sent the remote, with no shipping notification so I just waited and waited. It finally arrived - with a receiver that I have to get an electrician to wire into the device in order for the remote to work with it. The remote doesn't look like it will have any dimming function (it only has 3 buttons). The receiver has so many random wires - one of which fell out. No English instructions. We just tried 17 different ways to wire it, and it did make a clicking sound as if it were going to work - But it DID NOT! This product is a waste of money. Bad experience with the seller. At this point, I'm just going to trash it and replace with a different light. It's a great concept, I really wanted something with style there - but the execution on this manufacturing and delivery was very poor. I am doing everything I can to get this refunded - Amazon is trying AGAIN to reach the seller and get my money back, and if they don't get back to us, I'll have to file the A-Z claim. And if Amazon doesn't refund me - well, they can kiss this customer goodbye - I am THAT cheesed off. I've tried dimmer switches, electricians - what a waste of money and my valuable time. ... show more
