I bought these primarily to use on my sun self. The water is typically 8-9 inches there and the seat on these chairs is a little higher so your bottom doesn't touch the water. They don't float. So, I think they would still work for a deeper shelf. I also bought the ottoman with them which is very comfortable. I put everything together myself and it was very easy. Love the cup holder and the wine holder. They're very nice quality and the blue color is even prettier in real life. The back on them is a little straighter than some other chairs of this type and though they're still very comfortable I prefer them with a little pillow. I looked at a lot of these type of chairs before deciding on these ones and I'm very happy with my purchase! I plan to get 2 of the oversize version for outside of the pool. My sister just got her oversize ones and loves them as well.

UPDATE- Cecarol responded to my original review. They went far above my expectations to fix the problem with the original order. Their customer service was probably the best I've ever dealt with. Will I buy from them again? ABSOLUTELY, I'm looking for matching tables to go with the chairs even as I type this. Thank you Cecarol for restoring my faith in Customer service, you guys were Great! And your chairs are good too. Original review The Chairs were relatively easy to put together and seem sturdy enough although a little bit of a creaking sound when we first sat in them (pretty sure that is to be expected). If you are putting these together with just one person have a few small boxes on hand to support some of the parts while you get the screws/bolts situated. Really wasn't hard to do at all. So why the 3 stars? Because I ordered Coffee color on two chairs and got Black on both that came in. Since it's the end of the season, and I got a good price (lightning on one and a coupon on the other), I suspect they were trying to clear their inventory. When I look back on the Page for the chairs, now only Blue is listed, so although I could return these for a refund the odds that I would get the Coffee color (or price) was going to be pretty slim. I can however use the Black Chairs in another location and hope that Coffee color shows back up at some point with some decent discounts. Just a little disappointed that I didn't get exactly what I ordered. Now I just have to see how these hold up over time.

I love my Adirondack chair! It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy a summer day. The chair is very comfortable, and the wide armrests are great for holding a drink or a book. I also appreciate that the chair is made of durable materials that can withstand the elements. Overall, I highly recommend this Adirondack chair. It's a great addition to any patio or backyard.

Fast delivery and was very easy to put together. Went out of my comfort zone and picked blue. Normally gravitate to brown or black. Love the blue. Haven’t put them to the test yet but will update once I do!

Ordered one September 2023 for $99.00 with coupon. Assembly was a breeze. After reading one of the reviews of the back support breaking I added a polyethylene type primer and cement at the stress points. (added maybe ten minutes to assembly time) The Stainless steel hardware is a bit soft so you have to pay close attention to make sure the Allen key is fully inserted. I did notice I was able to re-torque all of the Allen head screws about 1/8 turn 12 hours after initial assembly that may help with overall strength. This is my initial review, I'll update in a few months after some sunlight and wear & tear. Plan on buying more when the coupons bring the price below $100

I bought two of these chairs. Easy to assemble. I mean really basic and quick. Nice color. Smooth plastic. Unfortunately one of the arms was missing the threaded internal part that allows the bolt to attach and there is no way to contact the seller to ask for a part. The only option is to return the whole item which I've already built. Sending it back is a hassle and I don't want to create waste. I really wish I could just get the part.
