This chair took me about an hour to put together, but it’s we worth it. My daughter joked that there were more pieces than the adult Polywood chairs she had assembled! The chair is excellent quality and very heavy for the size. Substantial. It looks as though it will be able to be used for many years. While it can fold, I chose to tighten it to eliminate that option because I believe it is safer. I will fold it for storage at the end of the season. ... show more

I can seriously tell you this is one of the best products I have bought from the way it was shipped to the instructions was fantastic from pointing out and labeling all the screws all the parts was in awww as it’s rare these days.. What goes to what pictures following. phenomenal I will not hesitate to order these again. Also, they are pretty sturdy, not worried about them lasting through the sun rain and storms and blowing away they are heavy. I am worried about the squirrels getting a hold of them, but they fold up. You can put them away. Perfect for whomever needs a good child’s chair!!! Great Job with this product!!! ... show more

    • Closes way to easy.
The chair is well made of nice materials. Great size for kids. Just can’t recommend because it closes way to easy. Even tightening the screws down hard it can still close. I drilled and added four screws so it can’t fold shut. Would give it five stars if it didn’t fold.

It isn't so much that this chair is hard to assemble, it just takes time. It is a fun project chair that, in the end, if you follow directions, you will end up with a piece of art plus the satisfaction of building it. You will also learn and come to appreciate this old design. This is a well-engineered chair and will take the challenges that kids throw at it. (Do check the bolts once in a while and retighten them as needed). The texture is great and the finish is durable even in the sun. Easy to clean an never needs refinishing.
