Description

What are the benefits of the upgraded collocatable greenhouse? 1.Installation is modular with 3 way aluminum joint for easier installation 2.Wider aluminum frame, more sturdy and stable 3.Can be assembled into 10x12,10x16, 10x20, 10x24 .... Stay tuned How to install it in backyard, in the lawn how to properly secure so that it doesn’t fly away in wind? We recommend that you better install a pressure-treated wooden frame of the same size as the greenhouse, but you can screw in heavy-duty ground stakes and secure the greenhouse with cables on top. Are there any effective wind protection tips? You can add self-tapping screws to the PC panel. or you can plan on staking it down combined with strapping steel cable/anchor kit over the top to protect against winds over 56Mph. Are there any great tricks to assist with fixing? WD-40 works wonders for sliding the panes in. Please caulk all the crevices on this greenhouse; You can silicone around the bottom of the roof panels by the gutters so no water would bypass the gutter and run behind it. Does it keep plants warm in winter? The temperature inside the greenhouse may be 20-40 degrees during the day and the same as the outside temperature at night. This is in the absence of any supplemental heating or cooling. So we recommend adding a heater inside a greenhouse. You deserve to have it! • Great product, poor instructions.
I am giving it 5 stars because we like the product so much. Seems sturdy and is working nicely. One problem was the instructions. we have to tear it apart once because instructions for the first wall assembly failed to point out which was certain hardware needed to be. The instructions for the 2nd wall assembly had a note telling us which way the similar bracket needed to be installed. Product was from China and I have learned over time that you need to be extra careful with instructions and specially details of instructions. No different here. Take a little extra time on understanding instructions. ... show more

  • Worth it
I got this on a sale and wish now I’d bought a bigger one! I’m very happy. I got the 6x8 and have set it up on two 4x4-post layers which I staked with rebar. This makes it just a little taller . I’m 5’7” and this made a huge difference for me. I would say it’s a bit short and the door is narrow, but it’s a greenhouse. Not an ADA compliant house. A lot of the connections are tension-controlled. So how much you tighten things will change the sturdiness. Bring a lot of patience. It took me a few days to put this together with a few hours a day. There are a lot of smart elements to this design when considering it was made for assembly from two boxes. The roof latch isn’t great, and the vent can get moved around by wind. I might put a stop screw in to hold it. Some of the lateral bars are just held in by being sandwiched between polycarbonate panels. So I’m considering some earthquake strapping for bonus rigidity, installed with self-tapping metal screws. I think this will help when we get some snow this year. As for holding up: endured some Oregon rainstorms, some 20mph winds, and has kept my plants above freezing. But I do have three heat lamps in there. Waiting on my coup heater panel. It’s 36 outside right now and the inside with the three lamps is about 44. Great? No. But it keeps the frost away. I have limes and camomile, mint and strawberries that I otherwise wouldn’t. And my orchids are growing like crazy (I keep them closer to the lamps.) The poly is pretty thin, about 1/4 inch. I was hoping for a bit thicker stuff. But there’s space to double panels in the framing, so I might do that with what’s at the hardware store. I got all the parts plus some extra nuts and bolts. The metal frame is good quality though the connectors take some finagling to get right and figure out where to put the screws. Sometimes I had to take it apart, reassess, and try again. The instructions don’t always tell you which way to install certain bolts (sometimes it doesn’t matter). My only real complaint is that the bar over the door is a 1/4 inch short. That could just be because of the way it went together here. But I couldn’t get the door shut initially. I had to push up on the header bar to get the door closed. Now I just don’t open the door all the way. But I want to slip in and out and keep the heat in anyway, so I’m not upset. It’s a quirk. We all have them. For the price I paid, I would say this was worth it. ... show more

  • Directions terrible -greenhouse great
Item Shape: 12x10x10 FT - Black & Clear - Upgraded
Look thru the instructions thoroughly. Some steps rely on a step further along. Find a video. Identify all parts beforehand & lay them out-it helps. Seems sturdy-doors need help staying closed. Overall a great little greenhouse.

  • I recommend it. Takes time to assemble.
I’m pleased with the greenhouse for the price point. Assembly takes a good 15 hours. The directions lack some helpful clarification. I mounted it on a foundation of three 2x6 vertical sandwiched between a 2x6 buried in the ground with the top extra decking I had, above ground level. It’s one month and a half dozen high winds later and all is good. I recommend it. Best of luck to you all. ... show more

  • Similar to Other Reviews - Instructions are very poor
I bought this green house a few weeks ago and my wife and I started putting it together on Saturday. I read several reviews here, and my experience was very similar. The instructions were very poor. They included just pictures with a label for the part number and the fastener needed. But there should be some description included so you know what to do. For example, there are some square screws that will slide into a bar and then is pushed though a hole to be tightened. But it doesn't really tell you that, so you have to try and figure it out. The part above the door to hold the triangular "glass" piece in was like this. For 3 days it looked like I needed to drill something to make room and then on day 3 as I was putting the vent window on, it hit me that the square screw head slides into that groove and then pushes through the hole. I had similar issues with the vent window, trying to figure out how to install it when I realized there is a round groove on the roof peak part that it slides into. I don't recall seeing this in the instructions anywhere. I also had problems getting the metal piece above the vent hole to screw in because the plastic glass piece wouldn't pull up high enough to allow it to click in and slide the piece down into the holes. Hard to explain but if you have built this, you will probably understand. Overall, my wife and I spent 10-12 hours putting it together. I would recommend that you pick up a screw driver with the proper allen key for those screws. I bought one after the first day (ratcheting screw driver from Home Depot, cost me 15 bucks) and it make that a lot easier. Overall, it looks great, works well and my wife loves it, so that's a win. Good: Parts are all clearly labelled Plenty of various screws included Very sturdy. Looks great and works as expected. Bad: Instructions are very poor so you have to figure a lot out for yourself. No videos (here or on YouTube) to walk you through assembly. Included allen key was small and hard on the hands. ... show more

  • Frustrating
I have put together many things with bad instructions, but none compare to how ridiculous these instructions are. The pictures are not helpful and often did not look like the parts that were called for. I finally got it put together the day before yesterday, however, I cannot get the vent to stay attached. Yesterday was windy and rainy and the vent blew off. If I can't get it easily attached again without taking anything apart, or I'm unable to get it to stay attached, I'm taking the rest of it down and sending it back. I also had to go to the hardware store to pick up more nuts for the bolts because not enough were provided. ... show more

  • Good value
Item Shape: 28x10x10 FT - Black & Clear
The assembly is work but not unexpected. While the assembly instructions are pretty good, it may be best to use them as a guide and use your own common sense. I do wish the vent doors were better engineered, they don't close properly is your build is not 100% square and they tend to fall apart too easily. Pushing the damn things in the top track is near impossible when you have more than 8' long building. I would recommend they scrap this design and go with hinges. ... show more

  • Very nice greenhouse
EDIT: now August 5, 2025. Greenhouse is still standing strong. I recommend siliconing around the panels to keep them sturdy. The only complaint I have: the vent panel that lifts on the top comes off in wind if not secured some way other than the latch and is very hard to get back on. Overall still very pleased! Original review: I will agree with the other reviews that the instructions leave a lot to the imagination, but once you figure out the main gist of things, it moves right along. It took my husband and I four evenings to put it together. Everything showed up in two boxes with everything in great shape. I must admit, taking it out of the packaging I thought it might be wimpy or cheaply made, but now that’s it’s all together, this thing is sturdy! So far it’s done well with 20-25 mile wind gusts. I’m looking forward to filling it with plants! This is a great buy if you’re a quick learner and good with puzzles! I would recommend this. Invest in a drill and some bits! ... show more
