Description

What are the benefits of the upgraded collocatable greenhouse? 1.Installation is modular with 3 way aluminum joint for easier installation 2.Wider aluminum frame, more sturdy and stable 3.Can be assembled into 10x12,10x16, 10x20, 10x24,10x28,10x32 .... Stay tuned How to install it in backyard, in the lawn how to properly secure so that it doesn’t fly away in wind? We recommend that you better install a pressure-treated wooden frame of the same size as the greenhouse, but you can screw in heavy-duty ground stakes and secure the greenhouse with cables on top. Are there any effective wind protection tips? You can add self-tapping screws to the PC panel. or you can plan on staking it down combined with strapping steel cable/anchor kit over the top to protect against winds over 56Mph. Are there any great tricks to assist with fixing? WD-40 works wonders for sliding the panes in. Please caulk all the crevices on this greenhouse; You can silicone around the bottom of the roof panels by the gutters so no water would bypass the gutter and run behind it. Does it keep plants warm in winter? The temperature inside the greenhouse may be 20-40 degrees during the day and the same as the outside temperature at night. This is in the absence of any supplemental heating or cooling. So we recommend adding a heater inside a greenhouse. You deserve to have it!

  • Great kit if you know a few assembly details
The CDCASA greenhouse is an excellent value for its price, offering durable materials at a reasonable cost. While the instructions can be unclear, this review provides advice to help you avoid my mistakes during assembly. The first image shows two aluminum beams connected by a corner joint bracket with three prongs, just like the paper manual. The manual’s designations of Left or Right are confusing, so don’t worry about them. In the front wall assembly, make sure the third prong points toward the back of the greenhouse. The longer prong should face the roof. Channels for polycarbonate (PC) sheets are on one side of all beams, as seen in Figure 1. Figure 2 shows the placement of the vertical beams forming the front wall and doorway. Notches on the roof beams help align the vertical beams, although the manual doesn’t mention this. The vertical beam with door hinges should be on the right side when facing the greenhouse. Don’t worry about the L and R labels. Figure 3 shows how braces connect the roof and vertical beams. These braces are not symmetrical, but since the beams are aligned, they only fit one way. It doesn’t matter if the braces are placed on the front or back wall. Initially, the holes didn’t align when attaching beams to brackets with screws. The correct set of holes is on the other side of the beam, as depicted in Figure 4. Figure 5 shows where the screws should go. There was only one place where I had to drill holes—the small beam that holds the triangular PC sheet above the door frame. The holes on the horizontal and vertical beams didn’t align, so I pressed the beam up, seated the PC sheet firmly, and drilled new holes for the screws, as needed in Figure 6. A critical detail is the connection of roof beams to the top of wall beams. Figure 7a shows the correct method, with the roof beam on top of the side wall beam. If done incorrectly, as in Figure 7b, the PC channel runs into the sharp edge of the side wall beam, making PC sheet insertion extremely difficult. A similar issue occurs when placing vertical side wall beams relative to the horizontal side wall beams—ensure that PC channels are not blocked by edges. Figure 8 clarifies how to attach the ventilation windows. Look at the roof ridge assembly where there’s a circular channel. The cylindrical edge of the window assembly fits into this channel. One of my channels was slightly bent, making it tricky to understand unless you know that’s where the window should go. You are very close to finishing the assembly in Figure 9. You are inserting side wall and roof panels into the channels. This step seems simple but is crucial to your greenhouse’s stability in a storm. On the left side of both Figure 9 and 10, you see the proper way to place PC sheets relative to the aluminum beams, while the right side shows the incorrect way. You need some overlap between PC and aluminum frame. In Figure 9, I pressed my finger on a PC sheet placed under the beam incorrectly, and on the left, it’s secured and won't budge under wind force. Figure 11 highlights the problem of side panels falling to the bottom of the channel and not leaving enough overlap with the metal beam on top. The channels are wide, allowing easy insertion, but make it challenging to keep the PC sheets elevated. I used pliers to slightly compress the channels, creating resistance that helps position the sheets for fixation by the gutters. The gutters, shown in Figure 11, tie both side wall and roof PC sheets together, playing a critical role beyond rain diversion. In Figure 12, observe how the gutter beam firmly presses both the roof PC sheet and side wall PC sheet together. Without this firm contact, water and wind could penetrate inside the greenhouse. • I know going to love it if can fix these few things
Item Shape: Upgraded - 20x10x10 FT
Instruction not good but figured it out. Had a bad wind and 2 windows flew off and door will not close together and bottom of door smashed in. Not sure it can be fixed.Door needs new hinges or stronger ones and a new door for sure . Have it put screwed to cement and it is staying in place that way. Not sure what to do with door and windows. Looks nice other wise. ... show more

  • Awesome quality greenhouse
Item Shape: Upgraded -16x10x10 FEET
This is a very nice greenhouse for the price. You can get a lot more expensive, and possibly higher quality, but I have not been disappointed in this greenhouse. Other reviews mentioned the poor instructions, but we did not have a problem following them. There may have been a few places that were a little unclear, but someone posted some detailed pictures. Refer to that if you get stuck. The frame is made of thicker metal than some I’ve used in the past. The doors are tall and wide enough to get just about anything you want inside. I personally think it looks great and professional, but really doesn’t take away from the beauty of my yard. I think it has to do with the metal parts being black so as not to stand out like the green. We have some pretty terrible wind gusts that last for up to an hour. This has withstood all of them nicely. It shakes a bit, but I’ve been inside during high winds and it remains sturdy and strong. One thing is the windows need a little more securing for high wind areas. We ended up just tying them down. It also gets a bit hot during the summer months, so I recommend getting some shade for it, which I did and it turned out very well. If you’re on a budget but you want something that will last, here’s the greenhouse for you. ... show more

We are having a problem installing the gutter . It seems like we could only install it in one direction and that’s upside down. Are we missing something? 11/15/2024 Very good customer service. They followed up and followed up some more, making sure that we have it installed right . Thank you.

  • Even Bigger Than Described
Item Shape: Upgraded -28x10x10 FT
The listing says 10x32 ft but I don't think you really grasp how big that is until you see it set up. I was able to fit eight 6-foot shelves inside with room to spare and still have a nice walkway down the middle. The height is generous too – I'm 6'1" and I can stand up straight inside without hitting my head on anything. Love the spacious feel. ... show more
