The media could not be loaded. Apr 2024 update: I bought another pair because I decided the light weight of the shoe and comfort outweigh the soles wearing out. The gaps reduce the weight. For this and considering also the good price I upped my rating to 4. (I did patch the soles with silicone to buy me a few more months before replacing them.) Dec 2023: I’ve had these for a year and wear them occasionally. I like the fit and the upper construction is pretty good but the soles have worn much quicker than I expected and are not solid. Behind the knobs are gaps, probably for cushioning, but once worn the open space gets exposed and water will enter.

I don’t normally write reviews on products I buy through Amazon, but I feel compelled to give my two cents as my feet are totally soaked throughout my workday because of these non-waterproof boots that are specifically described as being waterproof. I’m a mail carrier and I walk all day long and even if it’s just dew on the ground in the morning, these boots soak up the water like a sponge and maintain the water throughout the entire workday. If you are looking to keep your feet dry, do not buy these boots!

I didn't want to pay $120 for boots. I've ordered some name brands that just didn't fit. I have large wide feet. A number of boots gave me blisters or hot spots right out of the box. These didn't. I typically order 12 EEE or EEEE. After just a few miles - I found with a thick sock these were on their way to becoming as comfortable as my waling / cross trainers. A very good value.
