The extra scoop lasted all of 10 minutes with my 2 y/o before it broke. The hat fits well, I'm happy about that (his head is very large). He loves excavators and for $15 it comes with the hard hat and serves its purpose of being an excavator. Also a good size. It’s ok. It’s not as strong and big as I expected, but is still strong and a good size. My son loves to excavate with it, so for that is good, but to push it around on the dirt or kids it won’t do so well.

The hard hat is adorable and heavy duty. The truck and shovel are sand toys. Don't expect sturdy and heavy duty. You get what you pay for. I was a little disappointed in how lightweight the truck and shovel are but it is a good size and will work for a burthday gift for a 4 yr old

    • You can't keep this under your hat!
The first thing, junior excavator operator does is don the helmet. He's a rough and ready operator so stay out of the way. After some hard moves and rollovers too, he puts the excavator in its garage and puts the helmet there next to it. It takes a beating but goes back on the job every time.
