This was just what I needed to help keep the deer out of my garden. I've tried so many things, and finally realized I just needed a full barrier of some kind to keep them away from the fruits and veggies. They get through everything else, and a fence was what I needed. I wasn't looking to put up something as expensive as a chain link fence, since I'm not trying to keep animals inside of the area, but just keep them out. The deer around here like to go for easy meals, so my fruit and vegetable gardens are often on their radar. I had a few posts in around the garden and then wrapped this fencing around it. It's holding well and the deer haven't been able to get through. I do like that the fencing is a thinner gage, so it's easy to work with and doesn't take away from the look of the garden. If it was a thicker gage, it would stand out more. But this is thin enough that it someone blends in and doesn't stand out. It works well and so far has been keeping my plants protected!

This galvanized wire fencing is sturdy and rust resistant and it is great to have on hand for patching holes in fencing or setting up a temporary fix for when you get damage and can't immediately make permanent repairs. It also works great for garden or flowerbed fencing and for protecting young trees. It can easily be stretched around a garden spot and then removed with no evidence of a fence when growing season is over and you can reclaim your lawn. I don't know how well it will work for containing cattle unless your cows are gentle pets but it will work well for many applications.

This 5 ft x 160 ft heavy-duty cattle fencing is solid and sturdy once installed properly. The wire feels strong and holds its shape well after stretching and fastening. I was able to cut it using a battery-operated cut-off wheel without too much trouble, though it is heavy-duty material and takes the right tools. Overall, this is a reliable fencing option if you need a durable barrier for livestock or property.

Okay, I was planning on using this “heavy duty” fencing to add onto my pasture gates only to find the term heavy duty is a subjective term in marketing. Applying fence manufacturer definition the material is rated as light weight with a measured diameter thickness of only 1.76mm/16 gauge. This makes it too light for my intended purposes and is the reason for me giving only 3 stars. Quality: Rating the quality of the material as a lightweight fence. Pro: it is woven wire (higher preference to welded wire that is prone to breaking at the joints). Con: Although it is “galvanized”, it is a very thin layer that is not strongly bonded. Flexing the wire by hand resulted in the zinc layer flaking off in my fingers. This means any unprotected areas will oxidize rather quickly. Overall: This may work well for DIY homeowners looking to plant a garden, or keeps penned, but it is most definitely not the gauge, or quality for homesteading or farm livestock pens that would be better obtained at farm supply house.

It says it is 12 gauge wire. I do use field fence for part of my pasture as I have 7 acres fenced and cross fenced. I use this for the back woods sections. It's easier to work with than the smaller no climb horse fence which has much smaller squares so that horses hooves can't go through if they kick and act like fools like horses tend to do near the fenceline. This fence is easier to work in those areas because it's more flexible. It's a decent fence that should last a number of years even in my harsh climate. Pretty good value for the product.

The fencing was pretty nice but I don’t think it would keep or prevent predators from digging under or chewing through it. It is nice and pretty high, but it’s just not perfect for long term use, especially for smaller live stock such as chickens and such.

We have been using this brand fencing for almost a year now and couldn’t be happier with the quality and material. This cattle fence functions perfectly for use on our Goat Farm and is a life saver when it comes to value for your money, but doesn’t sacrifice quality for savings. The fence is well made, with the gaps equal along the length and stand up to our goats constantly rubbing and pushing on it. This fencing when combined with Poulty wire has stopped Fox and Coyotes finding ways in or easily damaging the fence like some other brands that use inferior metal that was easily breaking. The 4ft x 160ft roll is easy to handle over the 330ft types, making it much easier to move to location especially through wooded areas on our farm. Overall, this brand of fencing is a great value, good quality and material and works well for cattle and especially goats like we have.
