My cat absolutely hates being in a carrier. This one is spacious and well made and can definitely stand up to the weight of a hefty cat or small dog. I love the extention so she has more room to move around on vet trips, she seems to be more comfortable than in the one i have without the extension. It's of phenominal quality and the zippers are smooth functioning. Hopefully this gives my girl a more comfortable trip when we go out and about and travel! It also closes up small so it's easy to store.

I love the idea of this thing. It's made pretty well. Zips snagged a bit at first, but it's just because it's a tight squeeze. My biggest concern is it's not that big if you want to actually have your kitty on your back. When the little tent is out, it's great. She lays down and get's comfy but I just don't see her settling in that small of an area. My kitty is definitely a little bigger, so if you have a tiny baby they might be able to get a bit more comfy in there. Not sure how if I like how the tent just kinda chills balled up taking up more of the space from my cat away when it's all backpacked up. I wanna love this thing... I think it just might be a little too small

I ordered this pet carrier as a replacement for the small, hard pet carrier I was using. The carrier I replaced only had a small door on one end, so when I needed to put my 8 pound cat in it, I had to tip it on end, put her in and then lay it down. She was definitely not a fan of this process. When I saw this carrier with the window on the front and the zippered opening on the top, I decided to try it and I am very glad that I did. This carrier is perfect for us. The only time I need to take her anywhere in a carrier is when we go to the vet's office, which is already stressful for her, but this carrier seemed to help a lot. She watched out the "window" of it while we were on the way there and didn't protest as much as she has in the past when she's in the car. When we were waiting for the doctor, I opened the expanding side so she was more comfortable, but wasn't able to escape and she seemed to like that feature. The vet tech was impressed with it too and even asked where she could get one for her cat! I am very happy with it for our needs. It is well made and has some nice features. I would recommend it.

Very well made and sturdy. The product itself doesnt weigh much but when u add your pet its gonna be a bit heavy. Honestlu a bit large to use in spaces like grocery stores as you would knock thins over but would be great for hiking or camping especially with its pop open back so you can set them down snd open that up to give them more space. Its honstly a little small for an animal much larger than a chihuahua

Picked this up to give my older dog a break when we're out and about. I like the idea of it, but my dog, even though he's on the small size, doesn't fit. The part that extends out to give more space is also on the back of the backpack, so you have to carry it by hand, which kind of seems to defeat the purpose? It feels pretty durable, and I'd trust my dog to be in it if he fit. Just disappointed it isn't a little bit larger.

I bought this for emergency use for when I absolutely have to put my 8 lb cat in a carrier. And for that purpose, it will work. My cat tried and was not able to claw or push his way out of it. However, he can only fit half of his body into the pop-out area. He does fit in the main compartment. There are pockets on the sides, but they don't hold much. But it is sturdy. It opens from the top making it much easier to put my cat in it. The straps hold up well, though they aren't the most comfortable to wear. It does look exactly like pictured.

it sat really low towards my lower back because i couldn't figure out how to tighten the straps. there are better backpacks out there for your pets. i wouldn't recommend this one
