It's not solid wood but so far drawers, screws etc. seem sturdy for price. Assembly prob 1-2 hrs depending if you're working alone or with help. It is quite heavy when delivered. (Accidentally left on neighbors porch by mistake. She called and said you got a package. Bring the truck or a mule it must weigh a ton!"

Desk assembly wasn’t terrible. The drawers slide out and in harshly. The metal rollers attached to the drawers were sent bent. One drawer works smooth while the others are a struggle. Quality is not terrible for the price point. We also didn’t receive the metal rods for the file folder drawer. I messaged Amazon/seller. They are suppose to be mailing those out.

I was looking for computer desk for a long time, but nothing caught my eye. This one was a love from the first sight, exactly what I was looking for: very nice, very practical and functional, not too big and heavy, well done. All details fit perfectly, nothing damaged or broken. The only problem could be the assembly is time consuming. It comes with very detailed step by step instruction, but there are a lot of pieces need to put together. The result is very satisfying. This desk is the only item I did not need to return because of poor quality or damage. They do have quality control.

Final review: Return/Refund requested. MOLESUM promised to provide the missing parts but they never did. I reported this experience to Amazon. One of the worst Amazon Experiences I have ever had. Please look at other one star reviews. Buyer BEWARE Updated review: The company has promised to send the missing slides. Hope it doesn't take long. I will update my review again if the parts arrive and I can complete the assembly. I hope I do not have to return return the whole desk. Still do not understand why they do not provide a customer service number and offer to provide missing parts? Hope this works. 1st review: I am experienced at assembling items such as this desk. I know you have to pay close attention to the pictures. Went to assemble Step 1 of instructions, install the side drawer(s) slides. Attach J1 (metal slide) to Part 2. J1 and J2 parts were not labeled but the picture showed left and right slides. There was only one correct J1 (there should have been a total of 4 for 4 drawers and five J2s. There is no option to provide missing parts or an "800" number or 'chat'. Only option is to return the whole desk, I have the original shipping crate and materials if required.

The media could not be loaded. This is a gift for my three year old grandson. We looked at many desk, but decided on this one. My five stars is from the Customer Service I received after reporting some issues with the product. First, The initial product was delivered on Thursday. I started unpacking the box on Saturday. I reported some issues, and I received a respond with hours. I sent pictures and received a reply again, within hours. I received an email on Sunday with replacement. I received replacement on following Thursday. I want everyone to read this because this is how you do business. I want to publicly say, "I Thank you all for your great customer service." Last, this desk is sturdy and beautiful. It goes perfect with my grandson's loft bed and fireplace. I will be shopping here again!!!

Bought 2 of these for my children for Christmas, 1 had a broken board inside of packaging. Contacted company and they responded very quickly and rectified the issue extremely fast. Definitely some of the best customer care I’ve experienced in a looong time (a lot of other companies could take some pointers from this companies customer service).!
