  • Great deal and working perfectly on '03 E
Fit perfectly on my '03 Element EX, my original gaskets and mounting hardware were fine so I reused them. Driven about 100 miles and no check engine light (I'm using Denso O2 sensors, if that makes a difference)! Well worth the $75 to replace my blown Cat! It seems a good amount of power has been restored, not noisy, and should last a good while. I filled out and submitted the warranty card, but hopefully I won't need it. ... show more

  • 6k miles, so good so far!
So I thought I would wait until I logged some miles before I wrote a review. I have a 03 Honda Accord that had 154k miles on it. It's started to burn oil, about 1 qt every 1k miles a while ago. The original CC finally failed and then I bought a Walker that was CARB compliant. Failed after 3k miles. Piece of junk and cost $400. So I bought this one which IS NOT CARB compliant but luckily I'm not required to use one where I live. So 6k miles later, and the car runs great, no check engine lights. Just did a 3k mile road trip with no issues. I know the oil burn will eventually clog it so I bought another one so I can just swap it out and maybe clean the other one. The build quality is good and it fit no problem. So for the $ you just can't beat it. BTW if you have a car that originally didn't have CARB compliant Catalytic Converter I would not put one on it. It's my opinion that the car is not designed for that type of CC and it will eventually fail and run poorly. So if you can get away without having to install one (sorry CA) I would do so. ... show more

  • Great Fit For 1999 Honda Civic LX
Style: For 96-00 Civic
The manifold/converter was packaged nicely, the quality was better than expected, and install was a breeze. Fit was good, alignment was spot on, seems very durable, and good value for the money. This was purchased for my 1999 Honda Civic LX sedan. The OEM converter was clogged and took away power and was loud. This one is very quit, got my low end torque back and acceleration is smoother. I paired this up with Northeastern Exhaust front pipe, resonator pipe, and muffler. I wanted to stay close to OEM. Didn’t want a loud performance exhaust for my D16Y7 lol. Remember to purchase a separate socket for the o2 sensors. There are ones you can buy on Amazon or a local parts store the hat the slit in the socket to allow the o2 wires to not get in the way when unscrewing. ... show more

  • Well made but wrong hardware
Before I owned the Element it's cat was stolen. The replacement job was a hack job. Rear flange cut off and someone welded in a cheap cat in backwards. Meaning the 2nd O2 was in front of the cat and not behind it. Horrible. Anyways. To fit this cat I had to cut right before the rear flange. Used a 2" ID sleeve and two U bolts to mend the cat and exhaust pipe together. Worked great. Cel is gone and the horrible rich exhaust smell I had before is gone. Please be advised like many others have said. The hardware is wrong. If you can't reuse your hanger bolts you are going to have to buy some. I bought this kit Doorman 32124. 22 bucks from AutoZone. The front flange gasket also does not fit properly. It fits the flange of the new cat but it's too large to fit the exhaust leaving the engine. So I just reused mine. Keep these things in mind if you do not have an extra car to drive to the auto store once you start the job. Maybe buy these in advance and return them if you don't need them. ... show more

  • Disappointed
Style: 2006-2011 Civic 1.8L
A few months after installation the check engine light came on and the code is for the catalytic converter. Have to buy another one. Very disappointed in the brand.

  • Perfect fit. Good price
Some lowlife dirtsack cut the catalytic converter out of my daughters car 2006 honda crv. A shop wanted 1800.00 to replace it. I ordered this part and it was a perfect piece to fit, I also had to order the resonator pipe that extends past the cat because the scumsack cut that also. To boot I also had to order the 2 o2 sensors which were also cut/damaged during the theft. Amazon All in for about 280.00 Includes the cat, resinator pipe , triangle gasket and (2) 02 sensors. + about 2 hours of my time on my back..... Only complaint was the wrong bolts were included in the kit as stated by many others so I just used the old bolts (12mm head). All parts lined right up/ no issues. The upstream sensor is the one with less holes and longer wire, the downstream 02 os the shorter wire with more holes... ... show more
