This was to replace a Bank 2 Cat on a Buick Enclave 3.6L V6 engine. The previous CAT failed because of several issues, including some cylinder misfires. Fixed all of that. Then swapped out this CAT. I bought this one because for the money...I got all 3 Cats for a low sub $200 price. Seemed too good to be true; and it was. First of all, the mounting bracket was slightly off; so I had to bend it slightly in order for the hanger bracket to mate. The size of the Cat is about half the size of the OEM. That seemed alarming, but I thought I'd give it a go since the seller said its for this engine - so it has to work right? Once installed, checking the Pre Cat O2 sensor and the Post Cat O2 sensor with my laptop, I could see that this new Cat could not keep up with the exhaust flow. The Post Cat O2 sensor was fairly flat response until 2,000 RPMs - after 2,000 RPMs, the Pre and Post Cat O2 sensor output voltage mimic each other. In other words, the CAT does not have enough efficiency to work. This again trips the Check Engine Light and the Cat Efficiency code. So, off I went to Autozone and bought the correct Cat although significantly more expensive at $750. Swapped with this more expensive Cat that was similar in size to the OEM and guess what? My Post Cat O2 sensor voltage output is where it needs to be with a nice flat response. Now what sucks, this can not be returned because its past the return deadline a few days. So I would not recommend this CAT from this seller. You will be disappointed.

So they did fit and they went on, but the problem is they are not passing emissions so I don’t understand they say that they might be a default on them and they have to replace them again. So I’m letting my mechanic order them if he takes them off can I still send them back?

Thankfully the one piece I really needed was replicated correctly. The other two were not matched to the originals. They have redesigned the shape and prevents fitting correctly. One cat was too short. The long one didn't have the offset pipe and wouldn't align. Not happy with this purchase.
