This is my second AirPods case and I’ll probably never purchase another brand. Fold back to access case is fairly easy, probably want it that stiff for the protection. Easy access to charging port. Love the convenience of the carabiner. Great thickness to the product and so far has done its job when dropped. Wasn’t sure about the glow in the dark option, look-wise, but the glow is bright and works!

Tl;dr these are the best AirPod cases on the market, don't second guess anything This is my second Catalyst case for my second set of AirPods and let me tell you... I will NEVER buy another type. These are strong, stylish, keep out all the gunk, and best of all give me 100% peace of mind that my expensive earbuds aren't going to fly out. I'm someone who can be a little rough and/or clumsy with my belongings so I will spend money for a good case, and this fits the bill. I've had other cases from other brands who do iPhone cases marvelously, but have found they can't make an AirPod case that will stay closed, let alone protect the product, for peanuts. Folding down the flaps takes a little practice, and is admittedly a little harder on the Pro model than I found the previous, but that's true without any case at all and it also means it won't open on accident! I've seen others complain it's hard to get the charging case out of the silicone but again, that's a good thing, and how often are you going to remove it anyway? I have no idea how some have had the carabiner part rip-I keep mine on my keys and my old model hasn't even stretched in almost two years. I've never dropped either case in water but I can't see how it would let anything in. There's a tiny gap between the part that folds down and the case, but the major seal comes from the sides being cling-wrap tight. Sure, the silicone picks up a little bit more lint/dirt compared to a hard case, but it's not hard to wipe off. A perk of this over my AirPods 2 case is that when it sits on a charging pad, the carabiner stays out of the way and doesn't interfere with the pad, so I no longer have to take it off. MAJOR upgrade there! All the buttons/ports/lights line up perfectly, which wasn't *quite* the case with the last one so I'm very happy there too! The extra few bucks for the "premium" version I don't find does anything special but it does add a little design flair. That's worth it for me, but if you couldn't care less, save a few bucks and go for the regular case-you'll get the exact same function!

I love that this case keeps the AirPods case lid from popping open and also keeps the hard plastic case from coming out of the silicone. After that happened to me in a store and I got EXTREMELY lucky that someone turned them in to the lost and found I ordered this case that night! Still charges wirelessly on my charging pad and you can see the indicator light through the silicone. Perfect for my needs.

It took a little getting used to the design since it is all one piece, however, it is great having the confidence in knowing that it is a single piece and that it hold the airpods securely in place due to this. Definitely recommend this product.

Amended review - it looks like the thin spot on the front is so you can see the charging light while the case is on. However, I am keeping my rating due to two issues: the case prevents Airpods Pro 2 from charging with the Apple Watch charger necessitating use of the lighting port instead of snapping on. Also, unable to use the indented back button for pairing - need to remove the case. ————————- Original review: 1. There is a thin spot in the front of the cover (you can see a small bubble popped out near the crease). Not only does the pop not look good, it is thin, not durable, and may leak water. 2. Look at the hearts on the front and back of the case. Some hearts look worn or double stamped. It looks sloppy. 3. Why is there an indention on the FRONT of the case (see the interior. This leads to the thin bubble. The back of the case’s plastic is fine. For a $43 case, it should not have these defects. I took these pictures after removing the product from the box. I haven’t even inserted the airpods case.

I didn’t know the design patter would be this different. I’d liked the idea of a white background with a lot of dots but not almost entirely white. I’d have chosen another color but based on the experience, I’ll buy another brand.
