Great heavy duty thickness, high quality for the price. Although the XL size was barely large enough to cover my Grand Caravan windshield, it works. A flap on each side close inside the door to hold it in place. The straps were a bit of a stretch to get over the mirrors but they will probably stretch out over time. I wish it came with mirror covers and was a few inches wider. Overall great product! I am using it year round as a solar shade and hope it holds up better than those flimsy sun shields.

I love this! Tried similar products, but hated them... they blew around, got stuck to the windshield by ice, felt cheap, etc. This CAT cover is exceptionally heavy duty, and locks in on your vehicle by closing the tabs in the drivers and passenger doors. A nice flap keeps your wipers covered, and it stays on/covered even in high wind. I have one on each pickup, and despite the CAT logo looking silly on it, now have them on the cars too haha

I live in northeastern Minnesota close to the Canadian border. I like the premise of this windshield cover, yet it barely covers the windshield of my 2016 Toyota Tundra. Minor snow and ice storms, the shield was ok. Either there exist gaps for moisture and snow to pass through (magnets secure shield to windshield), yet some snow/ice passes through gaps. In what we have had so far, my biggest concern was shield frosting stuck to windshield. This has not happened. Big storm brewing up for the next few days and should provide shield with good test. As an aside, I’ve been looking for something like the shield for summer months and hail storms to protect the windshield. We’ll see. Probably more later. OK. The big storm. 10-12 inches of wet snow, and then the temperature dropped enough to begin freezing the snow. Throwing it in the back of your car/truck is a no-go. Kind of common sense, but one has to get as much snow off as possible, and then bring the frost cover inside to thaw and dry. If not dried, and stored inside vehicle, water vapor will collect on inside of windshield, and it will frost on the inside, which all but defeats the purpose of a frost guard. Might be a chore if one lives in an apartment or one of those homes where it’s mandatory to remove one’s shoes.

This product has my expectations so far. It is well made and easy to put on and fits my 2023 Honda CR-V well. I haven't tested it in high winds or bad weather yet and will update as I find out more. As with all covers of this kind, the owner should decide where to put the cover when it is not on the car, especially if it is covered in dew or ice. So far I have only experienced a wet cover from dew and just spread it wet side up in my trunk.

The fit is nearly perfect for my Mk7 Golf, it covers up onto the roof and down way over the wipers. The cover is maybe an inch too wide to be called a perfect fit, more of it tucks in the door than it does in the pictures. Awesome, very happy with the coverage. The stitching looks weak and probably wont make it more than a few years. The cover itself is a single layer of textile with a waterproof membrane on the back. Nothing special or complex. Speaking of nothing special or complex, there are no magnets. The reason I bought this unit was the nine heavy duty magnets to secure the guard to my car. And it was grey. Still, no magnets. Sometimes, well most times, we get sideways snow. Wanted the magnets. Here's to hoping.
