I just assembled this a little while ago and found the instructions to be clear and easy to follow. The multi-level design, complete with a bed window perch, hammock, and toys, has been a big hit with my cats—they absolutely love it! However, I did encounter a concern with one of the attachable toys. It had long plastic tassels that could easily be chewed off and ingested by my cats. For safety, I decided to cut off the tassels and still use the toy, but I recommend keeping a close eye on your pets if you decide to leave the tassels on. Seriously, anything plastic like that is as dangerous to kitties as it would be to small children and I personally wasn't willing to risk it. Cats LOVE to chew on/eat plasic. Despite the issue with the toy, the cat tree is a wonderful addition to our home, providing plenty of entertainment and comfort for my furry friends.

I was happily surprised by the quality of materials and the design of this piece of cat furniture. The frame is made of heavy square tube steel and the panels are heavy laminated MDF. There is a considerable amount of assembly required for this item. I took my time so I wouldn’t have to disassemble and reassemble, so it took me about 45 minutes to complete the task. All hardware needed plus a few extra screws are included. I used only the tools provided and had no problem completing the assembly. The parts are numbered for reference from the illustrations in the assembly booklet. This definitely makes it easier to get things right the first time. The holes are drilled accurately so you don’t have to force anything into place. The finished cat tree has enough weight to make is stable. The out-turned legs make it very unlikely that a kitty jumping from this cat tree could topple it. The drawer is of carboard and cloth construction like some of the inexpensive storage bins that are out there. This is not a real problem, though, because you don’t buy one of these for the drawer – you buy it to give your cats some additional vertical space. This “cat condo” is well designed for this purpose. Our younger kitty has already taken to the hammocks as her place from which to oversee the living room. This is an excellent piece of cat furniture.

You have to have much patience to put this together (more than mine and I am a long-time quilter.) First the allen key destroyed some screws - first time that ever happened. Second, I was following instructions (something I am good at) when they led me astray - predrilled holes were not where the picture showed. At this point, I gave up - no cat bed is worth the aggravation-

I was skeptical about this piece of cat furniture but it has exceeded my expectations. First, the instructions were easy to understand and follow. Actually, there were probably the best I've dealt with in putting together dozens of pieces of furniture. The pieces were labeled as were the baggies of screws. It came with 2 different Allen wrenches and one even had a screw driver on one end. There were even extra pieces of hardware in case you're a klutz like a I am and lose one. Props to the company for such good labeling and instructions. I had it assembled in about 30 minutes. I did leave the scratching parts off for now because my cats don't normally like that type of scratcher but I may put them on later. It will was very easy to assemble and the parts went together with no trouble. I didn't even have to use force on anything. It came with 2 cat toys to tie on but I'm saving those for later. My cats both weigh about 8 pounds each and it holds both of them without wobbling or moving. I know it sounds strange but I have it sitting on an organizer unit unit by a window air conditioner and it fits great. I had to remove the cats window hammock in order to put the air conditioner in and they were not happy that they couldn't look out the window anymore but with this window perch I've solved that problem!

It goes together easily, the directions are clear and easy to understand. Mine had a few extra hardware pieces, just in case. It's fairly lightweight, but sturdy once you assemble it. The "feet" made it stable side to side, but if your cats are like mine, they jump from the front, so either put weights on the legs or put this against a wall. It's mostly hollow tube with wood construction, the drawer is fabric- which saves shipping a bulky complex item like a drawer. My only negative is the instructions say to tighten all the screws down after assembly-and as I was doing that, the hex wrenches they sent were so soft, they bent! One of them.. alot! And I am a 5'4" female trying to make sure they were good and tight, but not stupid tight.

the instructions were easy to follow, with everything labeled as well (coming from a dyslexic person, thank you lol) it's super sturdy while also being light and compact so you can move it easily! comes with extra parts in case you're missing or lost some :) my kitten absolutely loves it and watches everything outside the window that's next to it!
