Chose this cat tree (5 tier) because its the most climb-enhancing tree for my hyper cat (lots of space between the poles). After 1 year got cat #2. Finally after 2 whole years, it's giving out. But not the cloth - that's still in tact and amazing! Just wipe it down with a wet towel and it's like brand new EVERY time. Super quality. What's giving out? The sisel rope, unfortunately. A 13 year old assembled this with no issues. My cat took to it right away. It will be moved to a window area after I put the Christmas tree away. The tree is perfect for what I wanted. I had to remove the you mice though because my cat will chew it until he swallows it, so it’s not safe for him unless he can be monitored and supervised. The tree is sturdy and reasonably priced. The media could not be loaded. I know a lot of people are saying it’s TOO wobbly and I’ll have to agree to a small degree but I have 2 bigs cats and it’s never tipped. Macaroni is 12lbs and Ravioli is 17lbs. They LOVE perching and love it even more when I pour some catnip on the platforms and beds. They’ve never destroyed the furniture or walls with scratching and only use the poles so I’ve gotten lucky with that. The poles have stood the test of time so far. Got this in mid 2022. They even get hyped from the catnip, sprint through my apartment, and then quite literally FLY through the air landing on the cat tree and it’s never tipped. I’ve never had to replace the twine and that’s even with taking scissors to the loose shreds. CON: Ravioli is now on gabapentin so I ended up unscrewing the 2 top poles with beds (you can see in the last pic of him passing out against the window) because he was getting scared of the wobble. Now he lives on top of the box part nonstop. If you have a bigger cat, I’d say you need to get a cat tree where the base is at LEAST 25in inches. This one is 23.5” x 19”. ... show more

One was Missing all the screws so I had to order another one. Put together the replacement & it is horrible. Screws not covered, paper thin rug, top heavy & definitely not suitable for large cats. My cat is small & only weighs 5 pounds but it shakes so bad when she’s on it that I’m afraid it’ll tip over. She doesn’t fit into the box part & she barely fits on the climbing platforms. It almost tipped over when she tried to climb on the perches. Now I have to return 2 of them. Now I know why it was on $70. Save yourself the hassle & do not purchase this product. ... show more

First: Good things : The cats, despite one of them being way to large for it, though he's just a normal size cat, still jumps on it and interacts with tiny kitten Cat #2 on it so it is a good diversion for them. Also, for the cost, it works. NOT SO GOOD THINGS: The cost should have tipped me off but I should've taken better note of the measurements. It shows what appears to be an adult sized cat on the tower but it must be a VERY small adult cat because my one adult cat does NOT fit in the enclosure. (See attached photos) The only one that fits is my kitten. (the black one) And the top level is even small for the kitten, which you can see in the photo! (before it was fully put together) Basically, The Photos are misleading. Meaning, the scale is off; Kind of like you don't know how big a tree is until a person stands in front of it. Also, BETTER INSTRUCTIONS NEEDED! There is a certain order to putting this together or else you have to take things apart and start all over. This was very frustrating. SO, LONG STORY SHORT - BE PREPARED TO HAVE NOT THE BEST INSTRUCTIONS AND DON'T GET IF YOU HAVE A CAT OVER 10LBS AND YOU WOULD LIKE THEM TO BE ABLE TO BE ABLE TO FIT IN THE ENCLOSED SPACE AND LIE DOWN ON THE TOP TIER. Was fairly easy to assemble and had it done in under half an hour even if the instructions amount to a one page sheet with list of parts on one side and graphic drawing on the other of finished unit. The vermin were interested in the box more than anything that had the parts but once assembled, it was game on. For the price, the value is amazing in my opinion. White isn't exactly a color choice I would have gone for but it cleans fairly easy so far and they love it. I got 2 models and set them next to each other so they're just in kitty euphoria.
