This is my cats absolute favorite toy and something we've repurchased because he uses it so much that he's worn the motor out. We now have 2 kittens added to the mix and they love it just as much. We have been using this toy for about a month. It uses four AA batteries which lasted about 3 weeks of daily use. There is an option to use a USB cable. The included ~3ft cable is most likely too short for a lot of people. The seller offered to send a free cable, not sure whether that is an extension or just a longer cable or the same length. I have a six foot cable i use for my phone that is running the toy now that the batteries wore out. It seems to be a really well made toy. The only down side for us is our cat never took an interest in it. He is an indoor only cat with some vision / mobility issues due to Cerebellar Hypoplasia, so it may be the motion made by this particular toy is not a good fit for him. We have the Potaroma Hide and Seek Cat Toy which has a toy on an arm that goes in a circle under some fabric. He absolutely loves that and it has been a hit from day one. I think this particular toy would be great for most cats, just not ours. As I said, it seems really well made, includes an option for batteries or plug in, and comes with extra parts to replace the ones cats would tear up.

Would've been 5 stars if the charging port hadn't stopped working. Would've been 3 stars if my dog hadn't gone absolutely bananas for it! I had to place the toy where the cats could hear it turn on (it's very loud) but the dog couldn't get to it. They go to it occasionally and play with the feathers and the balls. I put both balls into the roundabout to make it worthwhile for them. Would've been 2 stars if I didn't have a place far enough away not to hear it click- clacking like crazy. Would've been 5 stars if it ran on battery power for longer since the charger port broke. I love that I can leave it on to attract the cats every-so-often during daylight hours, but it drains the batteries so quickly. I think 3.5-4 stars is fair.

My kitten/young cat loves this! I got this for him when I went on a vacation to cure some boredom…I think he probably only uses it when I’m there watching but he goes in phases of really loving it. I had one that started flaking out and quitting both with batteries and cord but the seller was super responsive and replaced it right away, so for that it deserves 5 stars.

My cats loved the toy, and it works well. However, if you purchase it, be incredibly careful with how your cats play with it. We've had this toy just over a month, and our smallest cat (who loved it) pulled off one of the feather attachments and swallowed the rubber bumper that helps to keep it in place. It obstructed his small intestine and gave us a horrible scare. Three days of intense stress, a surgery, and a staggering emergency vet bill later... this toy will not be coming back into our house.

I bought this toy for my cat. She sat interested in it for while and then walked away. My daughters toy poodle however is mesmerized by the thing. He barks, charges at it, runs around it, paws at the feathers and everything else. He likes it so much I had to gift it to them. I'm back to searching for something new for my cat. She is hard to keep engaged. If your cat isnt like that, this will probably be a great toy. I'm going to give it 5 stars. It served its purpose, even if for the wrong fur baby.
