These are very good for trimming my cat's nails. They feel sturdy. The grip is comfortable, and the actual cutting is precise. They look identical to the ones my vet used when he showed me how to properly trim my cat friend's claws. The 45 degree angle makes it easier to cut without having to invert your cutting hand. About the only negative I can throw at them is that they might be a tad overpriced at $9 (as of this writing). Feels more like a $5 item to me. Overall, I'm pleased with how they perform.

I've never owned a pair of cat nail clippers but do need to clip my older cat's nails. These seem to be well made, and despite my worry that my larger fingers wouldn't fit well in the finger holes there is no problem with that. The blades seem sharp enough and the clippers feel solid in my hand. The only issue is keeping kitty in my lap once I start reaching for his feet... :( I am certain that once that happens I'll be happy to have added these to my list of pet tools.

Got this for a cat. Cats don't really like getting their nails clipped, so he'd say this product is awful, but it clips his nails cleanly and quickly so I say it is fine. He'll get over it

So I’ve never been super successful with any kind of nail trimmers when it comes to clipping my cats’ claws. I’ve had the small trimmers as well as the expensive “quick detection” clippers where a light indicates whether or not it’s safe to clip the nail. None of this has worked. I’m too chicken. I decided to get these mail trimmers and try again. The first thing I noticed was the sharp serrated cutting blades, then I noticed the tip being at a 45-degree angle. That was new to me! I’m pretty sure that 90 percent of success using any kind of trimmer like this is having a cooperative cat. Luckily my kitten had his death daggers trimmed before I adopted him so I got (mostly) cooperation. It looks like these trimmers would work for someone that is either right-handed or left-handed. They’re symmetrical and can easily be flipped over to get a better cutting angle. I’m fairly new (and still scared) at the nail trimming thing but found it easy to just nip off the top of each of the tiny front paw daggers, he was done by the time I got to the back feet but they didn’t need as much trimming anyway. Well so far so good, these trimmers feel comfortable in my hand, are easy-to-use and maneuver, and are a good compact size. Kitty isn’t thrilled but my furniture and appendages are.

I have to say these worked very well. I thought they may be too small for me, I have fat fingers. I was happy to see they worked no problem and with how sharp they are the cat didn't feel anything. My cat is really good about nail trimming and will sit in my lap. If the nail trimmers snag though she's out of there pretty fast. So these are cat approved, the highest honor anyone should hope to obtain.

These are a win. The angle makes it so much easier to see how to clip a cat’s nail without getting them too short. There is much less wresting to get the paw in position so you can clip carefully and effective. I may not toss my non-angled clippers, but I likely should. These are that much easier to use. (Pic shows angle, not clipping of cat's fur.)
