First, I would like to say that this ball is well-made and it's sturdy. I'm giving this three stars for the reason of my headline. It's too big for smaller breeds. If you could make this ball in a smaller diameter for the smalIer breeds. I bought this with the hope that my senior Malti-Poo would play with it while his other treat ball was in the wash. Sadly, he gave up on it after two days. His vision is really bad and he had difficulty seeing the treats when they would fall out and he can’t pick it up because it’s too big for his mouth.

Okay is anyone else’s light up ball going off randomly? It was lighting up at 3 am and it I completely freaked out before I knew it was the cat toy because I was home alone. I just lost one of my cats so i can’t tell if the toy is malfunctioning or if it’s him visiting me. It just started doing it again so please write in your reviews if your toy is lighting up with no motion. Because mine is doing it a lot. Other than that, my cats enjoy the toy. It’s not their all time favorite but they seem to really enjoy it when they do play with it. I’d been looking for something like this for a long time because my floors are carpeted so the suction cup versions of theses toys wouldn’t work.

This is the first toy that my cat loves and plays with over and over - even without treats coming out. He likes batting the ball and seeing the bright shining lights and all the bobbling about.

Our 2 cats had no interest in this toy. Was a waste of my money. The orange ball at the very top in hard plastic. The light ball is supposed to go inside but I just put it on the ground and let them hit it around on the floor. It was the ONLY part they played with.
