Okay of assembly items this was probably one of the more complex but it fit together nicely the instructions had a couple of errors the most significant being that a couple of parts were labeled as six and they should have been 26 but since there were two of them and they were support rods it was pretty easy to determine that those were the parts that I spent a while looking for thinking they were missing and realizing that they were just mislabeled. Other than that make sure your drill is ready and pay attention to the sequence because and positioning because it does make a difference particularly with the inn er walls make sure your rails are lined up. Since the wood is pretty thin I plan on putting a layer of weatherproofing on it because there's no way this wood will last for a long time out on the deck but it looks like it will serve the purpose that I intended

I loved this cat house! It's big enough for 3 cats, cute design. It's a little difficult to build but I believe the amount of parts and screws are there for a good reason (safety and cute design of the house). I'm so glad I bought this cat house!

The media could not be loaded. Was excited about this at first, but as I’ve gone on I’ve noticed that two (so far) premade panels have been made incorrectly one I was able to unscrew, detach and flip around myself with no issues wood glue couldn’t help, but the other issue I’m not sure I’ll be able to correct. I made sure everything was flushed and yet the top back panel (piece 6) for step 8 does not align with the pegs on one side (panel 7). I would love a refund, but that would require returning this item which I will not do unless I cannot correct this issue. A stray that I am extremely fond of needs a shelter badly for this winter (our states winter comes (Jan-Febish) and a replacement house would not come in time.

If you have purchased items from Ikea then this item will be familiar. The instructions are 90% drawn pictures with a small amount of text to guide the assembly. It took me few hours to put it together because I had to sometimes look ahead in the instructions to see exactly how a part was supposed to be installed. There are fixtures on certain panels that do not show up in the instructions and must match a fixture on another panel that is to be installed later in the instructions. I won't B.S anyone, I had to remove and reinstall a couple parts because the way I had installed the first part did not match a later piece that needed to be installed. I was not short any parts or screws, as a matter of fact, I had some left over. The entire house is constructed of wood just as the description states. Overall, it wasn't too bad to assemble and the finished product does seem to be pretty sturdy.
