I had my doubts as I chose the less costly option but this brush works equally well on my floofy cats as well as my short hair cats. It’s so easy to clean the brush with the button option. The prongs are just right that even my fussiest cats enjoy being brushed.

I have two cats. Only one would let me brush him with the old brush. I got this brush for the boys. Now when I take the brush down they wait to be brushed. One actually will lay there and expect to be brushed even longer. I think it massages their skin. One of my friends was having a hard time brushing her long-haired cat. I bought her this same brush and her cat likes it. I would give it a five if the bristles weren't bending. I've had our brush for over a year and the coating over the end of the bristles is still there, which I think is a good thing.

I purchased this at a great price. When it said "cat brush" I thought nothing of it and made my purchase. It does what it is supposed to do. I have a few pins that have bent and no longer come through the slot. No big deal. My problem is that it is too big. It might not be everyone's problem though. My cat is tiny compared to the average. The oval shape is bigger than her little noggin.
