I love this carrier so much! And so does my cat!!! So many good things to say about it. The opening is the right size to put him in and zip it up. It is roomy for my cat to spread out and sleep. He likes having a view through the mesh. I love the backpack style because I can put him on my back and carry other things at the same time. The backpack straps are perfect for looping a seatbelt through for car safety. The mesh is sturdy! A few times he has tried to “claw” at it. This is rare, but it happens. You cannot even tell. The mesh stands up well to “light” clawing. I love the two zipper pouches on the side for carrying other pet related items….bowls, leashes, treats, etc. In the past, I have used hard sided carriers for my cats, but never again. Perfect for carrying my cat around, plenty of room for her to lay in and roomy pockets to store her food and toys for a day trip! If they scratch it at first, it doesn't break (as long as their nails aren't too sharp, if you haven't clipped them in a while, they'll break it after swiping for a bit)

I have a cat that likes to go everywhere I go so I thought this would be a good idea but I was wrong. This is a great product but my cat just doesn’t like it. If your cat likes to be in smaller places, your cat would probably love it. It had enough room for a small or medium sized cat, comfort provided as well as safety for them to not escape. This cat backpack has been great. I have been using it for about 6 months to take the cat to/from the vet etc. It is sturdy and it helps keep my hands free as I am often trying to manage leashed dogs at the same time. The cat mostly doesn't seem to mind it and although it has occasionally scratched to get out, the mesh has stayed in tact. My kitten and I love this backpack. The color and style are beautiful but it is also functional. The mesh allows my kitten to see out and provides ample ventilation. We live in Florida so its important it doesn't get too hot inside and the mesh helps with that. I like the little leash inside that clips to his harness. He has a good amount of room to move around and lay down. The zippers seem a little flimsy, particularly the ones for the pockets on the side. However, the side pockets do provide good space for carrying a leash, harness, car keys, etc. I just make sure to keep my kitten's harness clipped even when the mesh is zippered closed. There's also a strap on the back to put seatbelt through which I use and appreciate. Overall the bag feels durable and comfortable for me to carry and my kitten to ride in.
