  • 2.3L 2009 Ford Ranger
Pictures show only the front end lifted, yet to get to the rear. Seller customer service was fantastic (very quick responses and helpful). That is what will differentiate just a company from a company people come back to. Took my time and replaced most of the suspension parts while I was under there (as most of them were shot), upper/lower ball joints, control arms, sway bar links, ABS sensors, outer tie rod ends, rotors, rust grind and paint. Spindles are really nice solid iron. No mounting threads for the brake dust shield unfortunately. Grinded lower control arm and a bit of the spindle (re-painted) for good clearance. Figuring out how much to grind exactly was the biggest pain of the process. Will need extended brake lines for the front for sure, haven't gotten to the back, but expect the same there. Longer rear struts are likely needed as well. ... show more

  • 2002 Ford Ranger 2.3L
This product is spectacular. The preshipment call helped especially with them personally verifying. The process took me 9 hours to do with someone with no prior experience with leaf springs and spindles. I had to shave more than the recommended 1/4th of an inch off the lip of the lower control arm but it was a good fit afterwards. Using stock shock absorbers and it seems like it doesn’t bottom out harshly. Definitely stiffer but it feels better. Huge Bonus: Forgot to buy cotter pins before starting but the spindles arrived with several. I have included photos of before and afters with comparisons. Suggestions: 1.) Attention to detail. Can’t use my dust shield due to no predrilled holes. 2.) Include more instructions and identifications for the DIY people. For example, the blocks had to face a certain way. Perhaps add a taped arrow graphic of which way it has to sit on the axle? Overall really happy and can’t wait to continue building. ... show more

  • Exactly what I wanted
Extremely happy with this product. Exactly the look I was going for. The team has excellent customer service and got shipped immediately. Quick delivery. For front lac (lower arm control) you will need to grind it slightly enough for the new spindle to be able to move. Also you will need new longer rear shocks if you have the stock. With the 4” block the old shock stays extended so you need 26” shocks and replace the old 22” shocks. ... show more
