I go to various craft and metaphysical shows in my area. Having a good-looking and sturdy display without having to shell out massive amounts of cash can be a challenge. I ordered two of these black Montego 3-Shelf Folding bookcases by Casual Home and I have to say I am pretty impressed. There is no assembly required. Each shelf can hold up to 25 lbs - which is important because I also sell books at these shows, so it's a must. They fold very neatly, and store flat. They are stackable; however, the manufacturer recommends that you have two people if you planstack them. The fit is tight, but it's fairly sturdy. If you do use them in the stacked mode, it is also recommended that they be anchored securely into a wall stud. The necessary hardware to do this is also included. I will probably be using these in the shop during the off season. These are so nice, I am considering putting them in my home as well. ... show more

These took a little effort to put together but now they are sturdy and collapsible for storage or moving. They're good size and stackable and I like that versatility. Also, where they are stackable on the top, I have put a piece of wood which increases their height to 4 ft. Things can't fall off the back of them which is why there's four stars.
