I bought these colored pencils to gravitate to more of a professional grade colored pencil and not just crayolas waxy cheap colored pencils. I love these colored pencils because of how creamy and pigmented they are, they’re really great quality my only quarrel with them is they’re so soft I can’t even sharpen them. My most used color is always black (for line work) but I can’t even use my black colored pencil because every time I sharpen it it breaks 😭. I don’t have this issue with all of them but some of them seem to be softer than others and break very very easily. I don’t think my black colored pencil is even useable which is why I deducted a star. All in all good quality just very easily broken . ... show more

These pencils are well made. They don't break when I sharpen them. However, I recommend sharpening with a high quality handheld sharpener to minimize the amount of wood and lead you "eat up". If you use an electric sharpener it will eat up too much wood and too much lead and with it the life expectancy of these pencils. ... show more

This set has a nice variety of colors and the pencils are of great quality. They sharpen in a regular pencil sharpener easily & so far I've had no issues with their tips breaking.
