My girlfriend cooks exclusively with cast iron, me I use all sorts of different pans and usually when it comes to high heat I use the blackstone, but because she cooks here a lot I invested in a few pans for her to use along with associated accessories. I got this little guy for clean up and it works but the handle is a bit on the flimsier side so its hard to reall get a good scrub and also gets in the way if you try to hold the bottom part directly. Now I'm not saying its bad because its actually quite adiquate for my needs, but if you are big on cast iron and really need to get some gunk off a handless option may be the way to go, but if your like me and really only use the cast iron for cornbread or frying this is more than sufficient. Update: I am changing my review from 3 to 4 stars the reason for this change is although I stand by my original statements and even though my original statement was not necessarily negitive, the seller reached out to me directly to make it right. I am very impressed and appreciative of that level of service and care towards their customers. Taking the innitiative to satisfy a customer even over a smaller purchase such as this goes a very long way and shows this business is focused on the customers they service. Very impressed.

Like how well this tool gets the really gunked on food from caste iron and many other pans. I've used this on many steel or metal items and it works wonderfully. A snap to clean since it's stainless and rubber. For folks who have limited mobility, including myself, this tool flexes slightly while using. It kind of moves with you while scrubbing, so it's less tiring.

I used a brand new cast iron without properly seasoning it and totally F'd it up and instantly overnighted this so I could try and revive it and it worked perfectly! It took a bit of elbow grease because i sort of deserved it but now the cast iron and back to its prime!

I was a bit skeptical about this product and how it would perform. Also concerned about damaging my pre-seasoned cast iron but it works great and is so easy. Cleaning the pan was so easy and so comfortable to hold. Good buy.

If you’re not using this type of product to clean your iron cookware, you’re doing it wrong. I like this one with the handle simply because it’s easier to use than the chainmail squares. No better product to clean iron cookware.
