I know this name brand is quality, however, this review is only to say back then. UPS failed once again to delivery them. Never got them. After my refund I had to purchase from academy. So sadly I can't say much except to say I have used this brand before and it was good.

My husband loves these plates and he is super picky. He notices every little flaw. They have a great looking finish, no chips in them at all, plus no rough edges. We felt they were also a great price, especially since you also got free shipping. Also we were surprised how quick we got them. Plus they are the proper sized olympic plates.

Poor quality is a common thing now. These weights are ok. They appear to look like the older high quality plates you would see at a gym. Upon closer inspection the plates have some chips in them and are not totally smooth. They work fine for me on an Olympic barbell, but I would be careful using them for alternative exercises where you hold the plate on your body
