I've bought a lot of watches in the past, including Timex, but this is by far my favorite. It looks super sleek and minimalist, and even though I've worn it every day for the past 9 months (through rain, snow, sun, and sweaty workouts), it still looks new and no water has gotten inside the watchface. The material does feel like it cost $10, but on your wrist it looks like it cost $50. I have gotten so many compliments on this watch!! This is perfect for anyone with a tiny wrist because the watch face is small but still easy to read. When the battery dies (which hopefully won't be for another year--it hasn't slowed down yet), I will definitely be buying another! ... show more

    • Good Watch for the price of a battery with installation.
I got another casio watch that said it had a 10 year battery. It lasted a year and was 3x this price. I did not want to buy a battery for another watch due to the cost of getting it put in for me and the battery cost. I decided to purchase this one which is only the cost of a replaced battery. I have a very small wrist and am an adult. I wear a 7 inch bracelet size. This watch fit perfectly. I am not on the last hole of the band. I am on the 4th hole and there are still 3 more. It may seem like a child watch to anyone with a large wrist and look funny as well. At first I thought the band felt junky, but I reminded myself what I paid for it. I purchased this so I would have a watch to exercise in. I wear it for yoga and non impact aerobics. I got this one with the white face because I thought it would be easier to read. It is easily readable for me because of its simplicity. I have had no problems with sweating and the watch band. The watch looks surprisingly good and I find myself wearing it for casual wear.     • Clean look, very small size
The watch looks just like the picture but very small. I bought it for my 12 year old daughter and it fits her wrist but barely. The face is the size of a nickle and the strap is long enough for a small wrist. It worked for my daughter and she likes it. Not sure about it for adults though.

Nice watch with a soft resin band that easily fits and secures to your wrist. I did return it and ordered the one with the white clock face so it’s easier to read. The black watch face is quite fancy and if I didn’t have trouble looking at it to determine the time, I would have kept it. The white face version is the same band and company and has always worked for several years. Overall, this is a good quality watch, I just wish I could see better. ... show more

    • Small water resistant analog Casio wristwatch
Before deciding to buy this CASIO Women's LQ139B-1B Classic Round Analog Watch, I read almost ALL of the reviews. I wanted a durable watch that I could leave on to wash dishes, and I wanted to be able to glance at the time without pulling out my phone or putting on my glasses to see the numbers on the dial, and also have a second hand to check my pulse. (Yes, I'm still ticking!) My wrist measures 6.5" and this CASIO is a small, low-profile watch. The fit of the band is nearly perfect for my wrist. Of the 7 holes in the band, with #7 being the loosest, I have the band on hole #5 and 1" above my wrist bone. The band tucks nicely into the loop without being too long or too short. If worn on hole #6 or #7, I do not think that the band would stay tucked into the loop (UPDATE: It doesn't). The dial claims to be white but appears a bit yellowed, so that the background is not as crisp as I would like and the font lines are thinner than I prefer, but I can still discern the time without my readers. The crown/stem is very tiny and awkward to grasp and pull out, but fortunately the time does not need to be reset very often. I still prefer my Timex Women's T2H371 Easy Reader 25mm Silver-Tone watch, but I do recommend the inexpensive CASIO for everyday adventures with the following caveat. After several days wearing it, I notice that the strap does not stay secured in the little loop. It catches on clothes and just sticks out, requiring frequent straightening. I was going to return the watch, but would need to pay return shipping directly to the shipper. For a ten dollar watch, it is not worth my time or money to return the item, so I'll just donate it. Changing my rating from a 5-star to a 3-star. Good for a child maybe. ... show more

    • Exactly what I wanted
Years ago I found a Cassio wristwatch with a silicon strap and I loved it so much. I've not been able to find another until now, and having this new watch is reminding me why I liked the old one as much as I did. The silicon band is a game-changer for me--every leather watch band I've ever had has broken, lost its loops, or worn out long before the watch itself did, and it was cheaper to just buy a new watch than a replacement band. But the silicon lasts forever, doesn't irritate my skin, and is very easy to adjust. The watch itself is small (slightly less than an inch), but the numbers are clear and easy to read. I have a small wrist, so it works well for me. I can see it working well for a child, but not for adults with larger wrists. Most watches look huge on me, but this one is the perfect size.
