  • Keys feel like a Grand piano
Color: Black Style: Boom microphone stand with a telescoping...
FedEx dropped it off in the neighbors yard, in the packed snow. The box was a bit difficult and akward to handle by one person, and it had a few minor tears to the shipping box. But the packaging is very good at keeping everything safe. Assembly was a bit difficult if you're not used to blueprints (I am). The instructions are like two or three pictures, with the steps numbered in the pictures. The instructions are also for two series, the 770 and 870. Ignore the steps and parts for the 870 if assembling the 770. The 770 has no back board and the 870 does. The main cross beam is for both series and looks deceiving when mounting on the instructions (mounting screws are in the cross beam from mfr packaging). Beautiful sound. Beautiful demo songs installed. Key pressure is extremely close to a grand piano. Keyboard size seems extremely close to a grand piano. This was purchased for our future studio to teach students. My wife has been playing pianos for over 47 years (our last was a baby grand before we moved), and she's extremely happy with this Keyboard! Great job Casio! Anything great isn't cheap. Very thankful that it has a pull out cover (feels like wood) for the keys like real pianos. The music sheet stand is durable plastic. ... show more

  • Excellent piano for what I need as a beginner Excellent piano for what I need as a beginner
Color: Black Style: Boom microphone stand with a telescoping...
I’ve been having so much fun with this piano. I learned how to play one as a kid, but now getting back to it about 50 years later. Not knowing anything about small electronic pianos, I researched them for many months before finally deciding on the Casio. I wanted something that had the feel and sound of a real piano (especially the feel). It checks those off. Even though it has lots of techno gizmo options on it, I don’t use them. I just want a basic piano. The weighted keys with simulated ivory feel great and the sound is very good. Some of the lower keys seem to produce a more powerful sound than others. Maybe that’s just me, or maybe it’s a quirk in the programming. Don’t know, but I compensate with a lighter touch. Not a problem. I feel this is a very good piano, especially for the price. Suspect very experienced players may find an issue or two with it, but for a beginner like me, it’s great. ... show more

  • Heavy piece of quality furniture. Very nice!
Color: Black Style: Boom microphone stand with a telescoping...
Absolutely love it! I was looking for a piano that I can easily take with me when we move from place to place. It is a heavy piece of furniture, but it easy to take apart and transport for the occasional moves. It sounds great and feels great. I am very happy with the purchase!

For me, it was a nightmare to assemble. Must have done something wrong in the beginning. Otherwise a great instrument.

  • What I was hoping for
Color: Black Style: Boom microphone stand with a telescoping...
I've been itching to get back into piano, especially now during quarantine, after moving out of state away from my parent's Steinway. I've played friend's keyboards in the past, but was always turned away from buying one due to the cheap plastic-y feel of the keys and some of the noises made when the key lifted after played the note. Not the quality sound I wanted. So after research I stumbled upon this Casio and read lots and lots of reviews/watched many YouTube reviews of similar models. I finally decided to pull the trigger about three days ago. I already set the digital piano up. Took me about 45 minutes. I had the help of my boyfriend to slide the actual keyboard into the stand...it's quite heavy and I didn't want to drop it. It's GORGEOUS and there's no cheap plastic feeling due to the texture on the keys. It plays like a dream. Not a Steinway but good enough for my small apartment. What I was hoping for. ... show more

  • Great piano
Color: Brown Style: Boom microphone stand with a telescoping...
At our church, the piano player got very sick. We had no one else. So my wife who plays sax and clarinet started to train herself to play chords. We had a little keyboard which did not work very well for this purpose. Then we found this, and this Casio piano sounds great. Even has all 3 pedals. We have had this about a year now, and people think she has been playing the piano for years. Praise God for her talent and for giving us this wonderful instrument for her to practice with. ... show more

  • I would not buy again!!!
Color: Black Style: Boom microphone stand with a telescoping...
UPDATE. This piano is really bad. I tried to make it work. Not only did the 2nd G sound like a horn but the first D sounded like a bell ringing. I sent videos of the problem to Casio and they agreed that there was something wrong. Well after several attempts to resolve the problem I ended up sending the keyboard section to Casio in NJ. They said they would replace it. They did not replace it. They kept it for a month and then sent it back to me with the exact same problems it had before. Please do yourself a favor and do not buy a piano from Casio. They don't even know what a piano is suppose to sound like. Get a Yamaha. You will be glad you did. Bad Robot. If this was not so big and heavy and if I didn't spend an hour putting it together I would send it back. I can't recommend this piano. There is something wrong with the second G. It sounds flat. I have compared it to other pianos for sound quality and something is off. Since the second G is the one I use most for my left hand It puts a real bug in things. I contacted Casio and they just told me to change the tone. Like it didn't try that first. I don't want to change the tone of the whole piano. I just want that key to sound right. I gave it a 2 stars instead of 1 because other than that key it is a really good piano. I would have given it 5 stars if that key could be fixed. But I don't see how it can. I still have my last piano which was a high end Yamaha. The keyboard action is better on this piano but you can clearly hear how the G key should sound when I play the Yamaha. I also checked the key on a real piano just to make sure It wasn't just me. ... show more
