  • only supports Casio proprietary export of rhythm track
Style: Piano
I bought this mainly for the MIDI sequencer. The sounds and keyboard action are great, but the showstopper was the inability to export the rhythm track as midi drums either by file export or midi out playback even with midi accompaniment export turned on. You can only export the rhythm track with a .ZMF file which is Casio proprietary format. They offer an SMF to ZMF converter but no ZMF to SMF converter, which means the compositions you create on this keyboard can only be reproduced on a Casio keyboard if you want to use the their rhythm track. I really wanted this to work out but ended up returning it. ... show more

  • Little brother of the PX560 - okay player.
Style: Piano
Scaled back from the flagship PX560, this keyboard has nothing to apologize for. The color touch-screen is terrific. Other than the loss of a mod wheel and onboard live EQ, it will do pretty much everything it's big brother does, and for fewer dollars. Having said that, the action is pretty stiff. Also, mine arrived with NO TOUCH sensitivity on a few keys, which made it unusable. Three stars for the mixed bag. ... show more

  • I love the sound and feel of this keyboard and the ...
Style: Piano
I'm a bit torn. I love the sound and feel of this keyboard and the touchscreen makes using the keyboard's function so much easier, faster and more intuitive to use from the moment I got it. However, it seems to have issues with the multi-track midi recording. When I record tracks and have a track playing back while recording another, the notes get cut off/interrupted quite often and I'm hitting nowhere near the keyboard's polyphony limit. I tried wiping everything and resetting the settings, but it doesn't help. Seems to be a flaw with the midi recording functionality. Looking it up online, I've found other people with the same issue. Unfortunately there is no updated firmware right now on Casio's site for this particular keyboard. I'll raise the score if some firmware is released that fixes this bug. ... show more
