The design is cool. It’s light. It wears smaller than you think - it looks good on my 7-1:8” wrist. Love the large face and indices. Hate the unintuitive button navigation, the poor lume on the hands, and the illegible digital display in all but strong light (the light function works, but you shouldn’t meet it this much), which keeps this from being a good “overnighter,” So I have to change watches for bed, because I want to turn vhrck with minimal movement in bed. If I can ever figure out how to use the countdown timer, it’ll be a solid gym watch. The indices should be made of lume, the hands need way more coatings of lume, that would improve it significantly. Really do like the look and feel of it, the hands are easy to read in all but full darkness. ... show more

I was scared when i opened the package because it did not come in a G Shock Tin we are used to in US. Found that the GShock Tin is not a thing in Japan. The instructions were in Japanese but everything is available online nowadays. The instructions to set this watch is available on Youtube which was very helpful. Slim design, surprisingly comfortable "plastic" band, quick disconnect being a Casio is screwed in for security, no adapters needed to swap out band for something else. (Hardware to swap band not included in stock box) weakest link is the mineral glass, but screen protectors are readily available for this model. Only other irritance is the 4 o'clock time/date/stopwatch/timer/world time window is obsyructed - unsure if there is a function to temporarily move the hands. I was looking for a simple watch that was easy to read, simple to use, and durable (I didn’t want any Bluetooth or phone connectivity). This is a great watch and if I had the choice I would buy it again. I love the look of it with the grey markers and negative digital display. The pros: - simple to use - easy to read in most lighting conditions - great backlight - looks great - has quick release watch straps so the band can be changed fairly easily - good price/value for money - not as bulky as many other GShock watches The Cons: - the mineral glass scratches way too easy. This is my biggest gripe so I have to expound on this a bit. I’ve owned this watch a little over a week and haven’t done anything out of the ordinary while wearing it or storing it. After washing my car I noticed a scratch in the glass that goes nearly across the whole glass (you can see the scratch in one or more of the photos). No idea where the scratch came from, I’m really surprised that the mineral glass is this soft. - the band it comes with is not the most comfortable As is, I would still buy this watch again or recommend it to a friend. Just be aware before buying: consider a screen protector if you don’t like a scratched watch glass. ... show more

This version is the perfect G-shock made even better, easy to read in all conditions. Fits my 6.5-inch wrist very comfortably, it wears smaller than the dimensions make it seem.
