    • I mostly like it!
Color: Grey Beige
I’ve grown to like it. I didn’t like it at first. I wasn’t happy with the soft, faint thud of the keys striking a felt pad above them after pressing and releasing each key. I have since learned that the thud becomes imperceptible while actually playing a song at a moderate level of sound. Apart from that issue, this digital piano sounds nearly as authentic and nearly as loud as the well-tuned acoustic piano that I also use for practice away from home. I’m looking forward to learning how to make use of all the onboard features and customization, including an organ sound. In my space, I give its compact footprint and contemporary style an A+. I only wish I didn’t have to pay $200 more for the matching adjustable bench, which does work well. ... show more

    • Solid digital piano, trusted brand
Color: Rosewood
I chose this because it had the right feature-to-price ratio for me within Casio's piano offerings. I have owned Privia models, and heard great things about the Celvianos. So when it came time to look for something for the home, I arrived at this one. I am very happy with the instrument. The sounds are expressive, the speakers are clear and pronounced. The weight and texture of the keys feel nice. Cabinet design is great; a little slimmer than most in my experience. The Bluetooth MIDI + Audio adapter is a nice bonus that connects to music apps, can play back music from your devices, etc. The "S" models don't come with a bench, which for me is fine as I have a couple handy. They offer different bench models to match up if needed. ... show more

    • Unit was unusably defective and Casio customer support is not responsive at all.
Color: Black
We bought the Casio AP-S450BN keyboard for our 14 YO daughter, who is taking piano lessons, to use for practice during summer break. From when we first assembled the unit on the day we received it (6/24/26), numerous white keys from about 6 keys from the left end to close to the mid range do not produce any sound at all and all the keys on the left side of the keyboard are stiff. We did a factory reset (a couple of times). Volume - check/ not the issue Split mode is off Duet mode is off Casio confirmed that the unit is defective and that we had already done all the troubleshooting we could. Casio confirmed on 6/29/26 that the item was defective and was eligible for free repair. After I doggedly pursued a repair, Casio finally (7/15/26) told us it would be *at least* another month before the repairs could be effected, meaning that our daughter would not be able to use the keyboard for practice until the end of summer. At that point, Casio also indicated we could get a refund. However, we have contacted them 3 times since then, asking how to initiate the refund. They have yet to respond. ... show more
