It's not super heavy duty protective but it still provides decent protection while feeling great in the hand and looking the nicest. Quality is great and the bumper around all the edges has these lines that go thru which provide a nice grip and the back feels and looks cool with that design. I find the basic Pixel 8 difficult to hold. This is my third Caseology Parallax case for three sequential Pixel phones 5a, 6a and the 8. The cases have been consistently protective, durable and a great fit for the phones. I inadvertently tested the case yesterday, The phone slipped out fo my jacket pocket as I exited my car. A 3-4 foo, ~1M drop onto concrete landing on a corner. No damage to the phone and the case was unmarked. Well done. ... show more

The main reason I got this case was because I wanted a case that protects the metal parts of the back camera. The case is pretty durable and I love the color. However, I've had this case for 2 weeks and already the rubber strip is dirty. I've never had a light colored case (I usually buy black cases) so I'm not sure if this is normal or if this case in particular gets dirty really easily. ... show more

This case has an excellent feel and provides good, textured grip. The rim around the screen is taller than in most other cases, meaning that the screen is much better protected from face-down falls - especially when using a glass screen protector that adds some height. There are also excellent, tall rims around the camera lenses and flash. The button are convenient to press and work flawlessly.
