It's a clear case just like any other. But it does have these nice little nodules on the side grip which is cool. But the best part is the kickstand. The kickstand works great and actually looks pretty cool too.

I like the kickstand. It works in landscape or portrait mode and so far it seems to be secure. It also provides a visual balance to the camera bar on the phone itself. The color of the phone shows through quite well, but to be fair it is still new. As far as "anti-yellowing"; only time will tell on that one. ... show more

Very happy with this case. Affordable and provides excellent protection for my Pixel 8a. All buttons function as they should. It is substantial enough that it fits well in your hand, but not so bulky that I can't readily slide it into my jacket or hip pocket. I'm going without a screen protector for this phone and so far it is giving all the protection from the edges I need. It wouldn't protect against key scratches and the like, but that isn't what I purchased it for. If the glass scratches while I am using this, that is on me for not opting for a screen protector. But after several months, no problem whatsoever. Would absolutely buy again. ... show more

The kickstand is really sturdy. It even allows you to pull out the kickstand partway and still support the phone in whichever angle you prefer. Best kickstand I've had for a phone. I also like that it is the slightest bit rubbery so that if I drop my phone, there's a tiny bit of cushion with the fall. It also has little raised dots (barely noticeable) that offer friction so that stays in your hand easily. I like the textured sides which makes it less slippery than the Google case I originally bought. The clear case shows the phone color. The kickstand works well when used horizontally not as well vertically.
