The case is very well made with thick leather. The iPad fits nice and tight in the case. The only thing that could have made it nicer is if it had a magnetic closure to keep the cover over the screen better. I like this case and it seems like it will last as long as my iPad does.

The case is gorgeous looking, feels nice, and (at least mine) smells fine. But, after a few days of gentle use: -one of the corners is now not staying "attached" to the iPad, leaving it unprotected, and -the crease/stitched-seam of the cover is leaving an odd "oily" line across the screen. And the included elastic band is required to keep the cover closed, which is very different than the leather cover I had from Bear Motion for my older iPad. I wish Casemade had used a different method to keep the iPad in place, perhaps better protecting the screen edges. Update: 3/8/23 Casemade sent me a replacement for the problematic first one. And now, after a few months of very gentle use (no drops, etc) two of the corner brackets are cracked and pieces are breaking off. Perhaps they didn't fit this case so well for this iPad Air model. Way too much money for this lack of quality. Minus one more star. Update: 5/1/24 Casemade reached out to me, and sent me the latest version of this case. It is now an excellent iPad case. There have been absolutely no issues with durability, and the finish still looks new, despite my regular handling over the past months. This style of stand may not be for everyone, but I find it to be stable, as long as it's on a stable surface (meaning: not my lap when I'm crossing my legs). If this had been the original one I received I'd have been a very happy customer. Bravo for your customer service and listening to feedback, Casemade!

This Casemade leather iPad case is nicely made and seems very protective. It is worth the difference in price over a PU material which doesn't wear well and has to be replaced more often.

This is an excellent looking case. 16 months after purchase while alternating between 2 separate iPad cases, this one is no longer in great operating condition. PROs: - Great looking, perhaps the best looking iPad case I’ve owned or seen. - Kickstand angle is ideal and perfect for a coffee table or nightstand. - It’s very secure. There was no question that the iPad would ever fall out of this case. Despite the plastic corners breaking apart, it is still very secure. - Leather feels of soft and smooth. It’s good quality and what I’d ideally want in a tablet case. CONs: - Durability. The plastic corners are tearing apart. Particularly near the camera. Furthermore, my largest complaint and the reason to retire this case after 16 months of frequent use is because the kickstand holder (thingy) has started to tear apart making it unreliable to stand without falling. I still think it’s a worthwhile purchase, but going to purchase magnetic kickstand case with multiple viewing angles. Won’t be as pretty, but hopefully more functional. - Not a great stand for nighttime viewing in bed. Requires being held or propped by pillows. While it works great on a hard flat surface like a countertop, it’s not sturdy enough to reliably stand on soft surfaces like beds, pillows, or carpet. - The soft microfiber bottom that would rest on the glass of your iPad easily stains. Mines littered with small spots from water, cleaning spray, coffee (kitchen counter stuff), and stains as easily as suede. While this seems a common complaint of similar cases, I thought it worth noting. Probably not the best case for a public coffee shop or to use iPad as a recipe guide while cooking. - The leather surface is easily scratched. While this doesn’t bother me, it is probably worth the mention that this is good quality leather. If you were to buy a dress shoe with this same material, it would scratch quite easily just like this iPad case does. If you expect this to look like it’s brand new, then leave the case in the box, because as much care will be needed for it as with the iPad itself. Would I recommend this case to purchase to my past self? Probably. Will I be purchasing this case again to replace my inoperable one? I will not. Would I gladly accept a new replacement kickstand thingy to adhere on to the back of my existing one? Absolutely. In fact, I wish the company would sell/ send me a new one to do just this. If you want a leather case for your iPad Air 3, I think you’ll mostly be pleased with this one for at least a year or two.

I love the styling of this case and the way the cover folds and clips in as a stand. It's far superior to the other case options where the cover rolls up as the support or the kind with lines in the cover that hold the iPad up when open. The only issue was the older version of this case had plastic corners that were VERY susceptible to breaking. Casemade warranty replaced mine with the new version with polycarbonate that keeps the iPad more secure and is far less likely to crack or break. Their customer service has been 100%. As a baseball fan it's a bonus the stitching is red and reminds me of baseball when I see the case.

Outstanding case with a great high class look and feel. Besides facilitating a snug fit, it looks like it will offer a high degree of drop protection as well. Customer service is above and beyond expectations. I had a previous model of this case that was experiencing an issue that was rectified without question. Thanks to one of their customer service agents (Tom) a replacement of the newer version was sent in just a couple of days. It’s a superior product in every aspect. Having been around such devices and their accessories from as far back as the Dell Axim days, and doing Windows rebuilds on the side, I would overwhelmingly recommend this case.
