  • A fun white elephant gift, not sure about longevity.
There is a bit of a learning curve to use this, you have to toss the ball in a slight angle to get it to fly forward, and it wont perfectly hover in place,. Regardless, it's a uniquely fun gift and was a blast at a white elephant gathering. Battery lasts about 7 minutes. Not good for small children (they will get finds inside the cage and hit the blade) The Orb will shut down if it hits a wall an gyro senses its not moving. You shake it once to start it back up. ... show more

  • Don’t buy….waist of money!
Bought this for my kid and friends kid for Christmas and I wish I hadn’t. It’s so cheap, easy to break, and one of them won’t even work properly. The charging port is hard to get charger into so every time my 10 yr old has to bring it to me to help plug charger in. I was actually embarrassed of how cheap it was and it would even work….I gave it to someone for a gift 🤦🏻♀️ my daughters lays in her room because it also doesn’t fly properly. ... show more

  • Broke day after Christmas
The kids really loved this. Took a little bit to figure it out. It is cool. However it broke the day after Christmas which was heartbreaking because they really liked playing with it.

  • The power switch could be better located and it needs a muffler. Otherwise its good.
My family and I have played with this flying orb for a few weeks. Is it perfect? No. Does it have some questionable design flaws like a badly located and too small power switch? Yes. Is it difficult to learn how to throw it? Somewhat, but that's not a detractor to the score. The orb does stay lit up and does look cool when flying at night or in a dark room. The fan is very loud when I tried to show people at work the device. I guess you can't really turn down a fan and they do have to turn pretty fast (hence the noise), but if a muffler could be installed, it would work wonders. I would recommend this flying orb to others and recommend playing with it at a park or a more open area where you're not going to hit walls. It looks like it could float on water because it's so light, but I wouldn't recommend throwing it near water because you may never get it back as it can sometimes fly dozens of feet away. ... show more

  • Son’s favorite Christmas present
Bought on a whim, my preteen son loved it so much! First ball was good, but stopped working after one of the inside components just broke. Tried to fix, but didn’t work the same. So we returned for a new one and the new one works so well. Flies better then the first one and seems sturdier. He’s been playing with it any chance he can. Charge lasts for about 15 min, but charges up again fairly quickly. Go to gift for teenage to still have a toy as a present! ... show more

  • Waste of money and frustration
Both me and my husband read the instructions and could not get it to work properly. Returned it and got another one. Still won’t work properly, but a bit better. We gave up and are just letting the kids throw it around and do whatever. Would definitely not recommend.

  • Love this gift
I gifted this last year for Christmas and the kids loved it! I highly recommend this

  • Kids love these things.
These spinning balls are pretty entertaining. Different brands have different lift levels. These don't go up much at all but do spin at a low level around the floor and the kids have played with them a lot. The charge doesn't last more than about 5 minutes so I keep two so one can charge while other is in play. These were pretty much a favorite at Christmas this year so I bought these to have a couple more. The first two I bought from Home Depot and they would take off up to the ceiling... they flew better but the lights came apart. ... show more
