This basket is gorgeous and feels like quality rope-cotton. It’s actually too big for me, but that’s my fault. I like that I am able to flatten it and store it beside the dryer against the wall so that it does not take up too much space when it is not in use. The only problem is that the picture shows a leather accent around at least one of the handles. That little leather handle would be helpful when trying to find where to insert one’s hands to pick it up and carry it. Instead, each time I want to pick it up, I have to run my hands around the whole circumference of the basket to find the slots that are between the ropes. If at least one of the handles had the leather accent, I could immediately find that handle, and I would know that the other handle is directly across from it. It’s a small thing, but when I’m already annoyed that I have to do laundry and other chores, I just get that much more annoyed each time I have to pick up the basket and I can’t find the handles quickly and simply lift it up. I bought this because I needed something to put blankets in in the living room rather than leaving them hanging all over the furniture. It is really very pretty in color and design and has nice quality. It did have kind of a strong jute-like smell, so I aired it out for a couple days and then it was fine. I needed to steam iron it for about 20 minutes to get the wrinkles out since it arrives folded and flat. It could using a bit more steaming, but I’ll let it settle. This basket is huge and well made. It’s shipped folded so I did have to run a steam iron over it to knock the creases out. I quickly had it standing up and looking like the pics in the listing. Would definitely buy again.

Understandably this basket comes folded, so it will take some stuffing for it to maintain its shape. That being said, I am loving this for holding my son's larger collection of toys so he can easily access them during the day and I can quickly clean up if needed! I originally purchased this to hold our blankets for the couch but that never happened once I saw it's potential of corralling the monstrosity that is Paw Patrol that has overtaken my living room floor on a daily basis!
